Newcastle should be fine with Benitez at the helm. I think Fulham and Huddersfield will be joined either by Saints or Cardiff. Even neutrals can see we are lower than our performances suggest. Yes we are still failing to convert chances, but at least we are creating them. I almost wonder if there is a gypsy curse on the goals at SP (a Charlton pikey curse perhaps?) Maybe we could get Bill Nighy to dress up as a priest (Eddie Izzard as a nun?)and come on the pitch before the next home game and do an exorcism.

Huddersfield are the only team with worse form than Brighton. Brighton just got tonked by the most woeful team I have ever seen at Selhurst and we just came back from a goal down to a team that are doing pretty well, to go four games unbeaten. This is not the week where I am worrying about us. Try again another week. Correction, I forgot about the Watford defeat! But still, our form is better than most of the teams around us. Every game this season has been a cagey affair, even when we have been dominant we haven't been able to put teams away with the required goals. Hoping that this might change. Wrighty reckons we are due to give somebody a spanking, let's hope this is sooner, rather than later. Positive is we have a strong defence, so have competed in most games, which could get us enough points but that isn't a certainty.
