No, he does rubbish back-spin kicks like Speroni. Can't believe people on here have already forgotten the De Bruynne and Kante goals - both of which should have been stopped.

Says the poster who complained about Speroni playing, and who thought Wickham should be starting...

Of course, we'd be far better off with Hennessy in goal as he can kick the ball into touch over a greater distance.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

No Tomkins tomorrow then. Think I would prefer Kelly as the replacement rather than Dann but it's a close call.

No Kouyate either so think Meyer or Schlupp will come in and hopefully Michy will start upfront.

Hmm, with a couple of injuries and assuming Zaha plays, the team will probably be

Guaita
AWB Dann Sakho PVA
Townsend McArthur Milivojevic Zaha
Ayew Benteke

I’d like to think he will start with Bats but not sure he will. Probably another 15-20 minute cameo at the end. If Zaha doesn’t play then no doubt the gaffers favourite Schlupp will take the left midfield slot.

That's not a bad team to be honest! I really thing we need to be starting Meyer for some creativity but if playing a 4-4-2 I suppose you expect Zaha and Townsend to get balls in to the box from the wings etc.

Still, Meyer, Bats and Schlupp as bench options aren't bad!

Don't think we'll see Meyer here next season, fastly becoming apparent he just isn't up to PL level. 442 would be my choice tomorrow, Batshuayi and Benteke to both get in on the goals in a 3-1 win!

I think he will start with Bats instead of Ayew and see how the Belgians play together (They have done so before for Belgium).

I think Wilf will play and then I hope accept the ban and withdraw the appeal. We all accept that he was provoked but I can not see the FA ignoring his behaviour and his punishment may take this procation into account as the fine and ban are not excessive.

Meyer is just not physical enough yet to play defensive midfield. He is a very skilled player but against physical sides he can only play on wing or off the main striker. I hope he comes on off the bench to show what he can do

Yes, but did we have a genuine choice as to whether he should play? And you complained he was picked, and argued Wickham should be starting.

The Belgian boys up front, everyone wants to see that right? I mean that’s some real talent. Benteke looked great last week, the competition has made him up his game? Batman was super keen, I think he’s gonna be great for us. Kelly in for Tomkins, big header in the box, 3 nil Palace !!

Correct but why then was he signed ? Just on a whim to play occasionally ? I'd like to think that possibly in the future there is a place for an attacking midfielder, producing a little more adventure/creativity. In regards to tomorrow I hope we take a leaf out of the Wimbledon book and have a go at this lot. If we actually get on top of them, think they will wilt. Suspect though it will be a nervy encounter for us, like every game this season, as we don't seem capable of finishing off teams if on top. COYP !!
