LOL But as spain and portugal are neighbours in europe, wont there be similar words? No, they are massively different languages, it would be like saying Gaelic and English are similar because Scotland is next door to England.

Not quite, Spanish and Portuguese are both Romance languages whereas Gaelic is more distantly related to English (Celtic vs Germanic). However, the two are not mutually intelligble, although it is true that speakers of one can relatively easily learn the other (you try learning Gaelic).

The bloke who runs my local driving range is Portuguese but he is not romantic at all.

Worst window, nothing will top the scattering approach in the Summer of 2013, when we loaded up with rubbish. You have no idea of Freemans credentials for any job, only what you have read, I doubt you have ever met him or know is contacts in football. I remember Coppell was made director of football at one point, only to disappear quietly as achieved nothing. Football is all about connections, that's how many people get their jobs or buy a club. So, unless you have pots of money or the right connections you cant have a job in football. Gerrard and Lampard didn't get quite high profile managers jobs for their ability as managers, but because of who they are, no managerial credentials at all. Summer 2013 we signed Dwight Gayle and Chamakh. Both very tidy players and both made a great contribution. Are you telling me that you think Gayle and Chamakh are worse than Sorloth? That is ridiculous. Jan 2018 we signed Sorloth, Rakip and Jach. You won’t find a worse transfer window (not individual signing) and it certainly was worse than 2013 by a mile also given the complete lack of strikers we had in Jan 2018.

Sørloth is 8th in the list of highest transfer fees paid by CPFC.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

All I would say is I have listened to Gaelic being spoken and never understood a word that was said. Mind you I’ve listened to a few Glaswegians speaking English and had the same problem!

What is it with Palace and terrible windows? Being the Glaziers you'd think we'd know what we're doing
