The long and short of it is that whilst Parish saved the club he has done very little in 6 years in the prem and we are now falling behind and potentially look at relegation when we should be investing in the infrastructure of the club and buy players to make us better and not just go for a bandaged solution. We should not be fighting relegation every single year. We are most probably the worst run club in the top 2 divisions of football. But its fine Parish saved the club so is beyond reprisal. You must be so proud, "mate". I apologise for being out of line, but your post came across as a glorified attempt at winding everyone up on here. But let’s call a spade a spade and just sack Parish and the whole board, then hire a Chinese consortium or a Thai sugar daddy to placate your obsessive desire for the club to have success. Today’s generation of fans are so desperate. And it’s rotten to it’s core. That’s why I stay off these boards. A small minority come across as excessively needy and deluded. Hurray a bit like the Brexit Fiasco... at last it seems Hol have found an issue they agree with. So far no-one but the Op thinks a protest before the West Ham game is a good idea.

I think the whole club needs to be pulling in the same direction and concentrate on beating the spammers, because if we lose to them on their current form we really are in the s***, especially if we haven’t beaten Foolham the week before.

Yes I am clearly mental. Just as much as you guys are happy with being lied to about a stadium that is never being built and where all the money has gone in the past six years? This is our chance as a club to really do something yet Parish and Greedman plus and few other side kicks have lead to the likes of Bournemouth , Watford , Brighton, Wolves becoming bigger clubs than us whilst we fight relegation every year. Apologies for wanting more for my beloved club and for us not not be taken for a ride yet another time by some south east London self promoting maverick. Well I for one wholeheartedly agree with you. After all it's our right not to be fighting relegation every year. Look at Leeds, Villa, Forest, Sunderland, Derby - None of these clubs are!

Only a sith deals in absolutes We are better off than a lot of teams, particularly ones that Parish used to have a boner for as an example of how to do things like Swansea. They had the world at their feet and look at them now, mid table in the chumpionship. However look at other teams, dare I utter it, even Brighton have done better in the transfer market and some could argue have developed more than we have in 2 seasons vs the 6 we have had. People who think Parish can do no wrong: Dont be surprised if some fans of this club are cheesed off with the perennial relegation dog fight and such clangers as Erdal Rakip and Frank De Boer. People who think Parish should be shot: Dont be surprised if some fans love old Steve as he has presided over our longest stay in the league and has been unlucky in some areas like spending all that cash on Benteke and not getting a goalscorer each year.

I don't get this idea that we're falling behind. The fact is that we are in our 6th straight Premier League season which is a fantastic achievement for a club our size. It's not a given that we should automatically stay up, it's the toughest league in the world. Every team strengthens every season. Outside the top six there are a handful of clubs of a similar/smaller size who are currently above us in the league - Bournemouth, Watford, Brighton. I can give you many clubs, many who are bigger than us who really have fallen behind - Sunderland, Hull, Villa, Derby, Norwich, West Brom... We're actually doing well to be holding our own in the Prem. Enjoy the ride as we will go down eventually. Good luck with the protest. Edited by Goal Machine (31 Jan 2019 5.16pm)

why wait until the west ham game we are at home this weekend, protest protest protest , no we got promoted at least a season to early, more than 3/4 of the team are premier class players, and if we go down premier teams will buy, people dont look at clubs that have new grounds that are just about keeping there heads above water,if we buy you lot say it was lucky find,if they are poor its poor scouting, its lose lose everytime, so unless you can find someone who can invest more and not get us done by the FFP,points deduction then watch us go down so protest but not until you can come up with millions

I think it's a great idea. I just won't be taking part because I used up all my spare placards on the "moon landings didn't happen" protest I did outside the NASA buildings last week. I knew I shouldn't have used crayons.

Protesting isn't really going to help our relegation struggle is it. I think a new stand and a relegation scrap every season is the most we can hope for from Parish and co all the time they are in charge. Let's just pray for some new investment and keep supporting the team on a Saturday. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (31 Jan 2019 7.08pm)
