Steve Parish should get David de Gea or Jordan Pickford on loan until the end of the season. That he didn't foresee both our keepers being injured in the same match is ridiculous.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Is a newly-arrived 21-year-old any less likely to make a mistake than a ring-rusty Speroni?

And who's more likely to bounce back from a mistake - the experienced veteran, or the callow youth?

Ask me about Ronald de Boer.

To have your No 1 and No 2 goalkeeper out injured is a really body blow for us given that we now either have to rely on a keeper nearing 40 or a young keeper who hasn't played a first team game for Sao Paulo.

Any protracted time out for Hennessey and Guaita could see us slide into the relegation zone and with our financial constraints not allowing any significant strengthening in the window these are concerning times for all of us.

Such bad luck as usually keepers are relatively injury free and why sometimes hard to attract good quality reserve keepers as they don’t want to sit on bench for long periods.Hopfully one of them will recover for Southampton game if not Fulham which in fairness is a couple of weeks away .

If Hodgson plays newly signed Lucas Perri against Tottenham, I will eat my hat, which is a thick beanie in cold times such as now, -14c in Portland, Maine.

Hodgson likes to bed in new signings over a period of months, not just weeks.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Its how we roll.

Several strikers injured at the same time.

Several keepers injured at the same time.

Also when Pape Souare crashed his car, that was all left backs injured at the same time

I wonder about our training and our physio guys sometime but having watched the Benteke video on YouTube they appear to know their sh**.

Thrown in at the deep end. The 3rd was a howler and I think he could have done better for their second too. No strikers, no keepers, and yet some players on 130k a week. Priorities. What do the Americans do exactly?

He hadn't played in over a year. We were away to top of the league and so was a baptism of fire. Yes he made mistakes but for those who've only watched back the highlights he also made some saves and did really well to claim a couple of crosses. The focus seems to be on the error whilst forgetting the good things he did during the match. I've not heard their £67 million keeper come in for any criticism or under any scrutiny for his display and he conceded from every attempt that we had on target!

"It's ok postman , he'll lick you to death" "That isn't really that comforting , I still end up dead !!"
