Looking at the Spurs lineup today and assuming rotation we'll face a lineup containing Lloris, Rose, Sanchez, Walker-Peters, Skipp, Nkoudou and Moura. That's still pretty good, add some first teamers to that who whose work burden will be lightened by the fresh players and the team we face isn't that weak at all. We will have to be at the top of our game to win.

Spot on. Any scratch team from a big club will be a tough test. Remember Man Ure putting out the youngsters against us in the league and comfortably rolling us over 2-0. However if Roy decides to put out a strong side we will have a decent chance. COYP !!

Or even if Roy puts out a less strong side, let’s just feckin’ go for it for once FFS! I doubt Spurs will be that keen on a right old cup battle, the over-cosseted ‘fancy dans’ that they are.

Agree. Although with Roy, in any league game against top six opposition I get the impression that if you offered him a one-nil defeat before the game, he'd take it!

He'll go to bed tonight dreaming of a 5-4 defeat on penalties back at Wembley after 210 minutes of 0-0.

Or if he decides to get into a plane with one engine and a pilot with no experience with flying at night and over sea along the biggest route in freezing cold weather.

We might as well go for it all guns blazing today, if we win great but if we lose no big deal as staying up is more important

Would pick a fairly strong team but would give our back four a rest and go with Ward Kelly Dann and Schlupp.

Thinking here is that our regular back four is our strongest part of our team and we don’t want any of them getting injured for the upcoming relegation battle. At least with a decent back four which we have we can hopefully get enough clean sheets and nick some one nil wins along the way

Here he is, Roy's cheerleader. How's your petition going to have Guinness list him as the greatest manager of all time?

Agreed Hampsterite. I really hope we give it a go with a strong team even if we leave a few first teamers out. At least let Zaha be on the pitch. Both him and Townsend will be desperate to play, or at least I hope that's the case.

I really can't see Son in the squad today - way too soon.

I agree, although it would of course be Man U or Man C, away. You know it would.
