In essence a team of mercenaries with no personality of their own with the worst ground in the Premier League. Their club song is also the worst I've ever heard - remember the 2013 play-off final when Palace were belting out 'Glad All Over' and they were whining away with that miserable song 'Yellow'. After Brighton my most disliked team in the league. 3 - 0 Deeney sent off for plastic surgery. That yellow rubbish reminds me of the Rangers "follow follow" song. "Follow-ver oan the groun an see'f the auld bastart'll gie youse a peanal'y".

Tiresome Palace. You keep thinking they're going down, but somehow they manage to just about hang on and delay the inevitable. This season, next season? Who knows. But they're certainly championship bound. The absolute epitome of the one man team, we only have to consider high-pitched whiner and carper, Wilfried “I could have been crippled!” Zaha. The rest of the Palace 11 are merely a supporting cast. Extras to poor tear-stained Wilf's tragedy-stricken leading man. Did you know he bragged about having slept with David Moyes' daughter? While he was at Man Utd? And then wonders why he got binned off back to where he came in short order. What an idiot! As with any tragic actor, Wilf likes to portray himself as wronged by the world. The victim. The hard done by. The slightest breath of a butterfly's wings on him and he's straight into the plunge of the dying swan, with a twist, a double-pike and a little roly-poly (silly little ponytail-a-flyin'), Then he gets up and we move to Act 2 – The Indignant. Arched back. Head forward. Palms outspread and facing upward. Eyebrows as high as they'll go and mouth wide open in that awful, grimacing, cavern thing he does. Every game it's the same thing. We'll no doubt see a s***load of it on Saturday. Oh, their manager is some ancient dinosaur relic who failed with England decades ago. Forget the name. Winterbottom? Prediction Easy 0-3 win. Pererya, Sema and Deulofeu God I hope we shut these w*nkers up tomorrow and someone curb stomps those two thugs Deeney and Capoue into puddles of primordial sludge. Never liked them as a club - they’re full of mercenaries. Edited by Alexi_the_Eagle (11 Jan 2019 12.48pm)
"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!" |

Pereyra is one of them and a close friend of Paul Pogba.A player who never had football boots when young due to cost and used to play barefoot on the concrete streets in Argentina. There is also Deulofeu who is full of energy and drive and has electric pace.He can put in dangerous crosses from the right. Both Pereyra and Deulofeu are adept at free kicks over a wall. They certainly have goals in their team, scoring in their last 8 games.I will be surprised if we get all the points tomorrow. Edited by Willo (11 Jan 2019 12.19pm) Van Aanholt and Wan Bissaka might have a little say in that!!!

Except in the OP. I would love it if he wears one from Luka in the first tackle in the game. Deeney deserves a very physically challenging game aswell, so to speak. We need to play them at their own game and be smart about it too.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

That’s a great read, thanks for sharing that one. Zaha really does get such poor treatment a lot of the time.

The Vic certainly has improved somewhat since the Pozzos came in so cannot fault them for that. Mind you agree we weren't very good on and off the pitch at Wembley (both times!) probably not helped in the first game by 2 of our key attackers being injured but that is just how it goes sometimes. Certainly you deserved to win. We do have some flair players - will they turn up? Who knows... Edited by Superhorns3 (11 Jan 2019 5.03pm)

I'd have to agree with the OP. On the face of it, Watford should be a nice likable family club give their size and how they are overshadowed by the other North London club. Similar to QPR, Fulham, Brentford, Leyton Orient etc. However, they continue to be represented by players that are scum like Marlon King or Troy Deeney. They also are obsessed with Wilfred Zaha. I still hear them moaning about a Sasa Curcic dive in 98/99. It seems they are pretty obsessed with us. They went through a patch, where there owners took charge of a local academy school, and seemed to invest in the community, and want to bring players through the academy. Then that all changed with the current owners, with 15 or so players on loan the season they got promoted, you have to question are they still Watford FC or are they just a band of mercenary using it as a stepping stone? Finally, there support is f***ing s***. The play-off final was an absolute joke for them. Silence for 120 minutes. After the game the pundits were saying the Watford players certainly weren't up for it, as most of them were moving at the end of the season. The fans showed no passion at all for their team. They are the Charlton of north london. This. I was walking away from Wembley with my pals and a Watford fan had the cheek to tell me 'we're pretty quiet for a team that's just been promoted' - I laughed and replied 'we're knackered from making all the noise inside the stadium'.
