Spurs put out virtually their complete first eleven at Tranmere they will do the same against us. Let's give it a go with our strongest team.
All those season ticket holders that couldn't be bothered to attend the Grimsby match will no doubt be back for this one, should be placed at the end of the queue.

Bit difficult to go to the Grimsby game given I was and am in australia!
I will be back for Saturday though and will be getting my ticket for the Spurs game!

We’re a draw away from Wembley!

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Should put our 1st XI out against their probable 2nd XI and take this cup seriously.

We're not going to qualify for champions league or favourites for relegation so don't see why the club can't take this seriously for the fans.

It's not as if it's an extra midweek fixture, it's over a weekend allocated for the FA Cup.

I hope the club still keep prices reasonable, especially if it's televised. I guess this will be the full dress rehearsal for the HF in their new position (yes, I know they were there for Grimsby, but Spurs really ought to be a sell out if the tickets are done right).

Hoping we only offer Spurs the regular away allocation. Don't want 5000+ idiots singing "Yiddo yiddo"

No chance - they will play their first XI again. We should put out our best team and give it a shot, and Spurs certainly aren't insurmountable, but they're going for silverware and will be up for this.

can i remind our boys about the Dele Alli sliding knee into a grounded yohan cabaye and the continuing need for some Eagle-Kayla-Karma

that raggedy puffin on the Spurs logo needs to be reminded of its place on the food chain.

Spurs have their League Cup 2nd leg on the Tuesday before. Hopefully some tired legs/rotation on their part. They have great depth though. We'll need to be at our best to beat them. The fact Townsend & Zaha started against Grimsby suggests Roy is taking the cup seriously this season.

Anyone know when the date and time will be confirmed and when tickets will be for sale?
