Morning all,

Just seem all the fuss my comments caused.

Just to clarify, my comments were throw away, I don't think that black people are treated better or worse in court.

I come on here to have a laugh, talk boxing with Casual and generally talk some sh@t. I don't put too much thought into anything.

Not here to fall out with anyone, as far as I'm concerned we are all part of the Palace family.

As I say though, if anyone has any issues with me then DM me and we can meet in real life instead of calling me names online. Alternatively you can normally find me drinking in the Holmesdale before any game.

Happy Christmas

Tom

Understood Tom, I appreciate the gesture and good will demonstrated here. Once Jimenez commented I did make sure I stated that there may have well been an aspect of humour or lack of seriousness to your comments. I very much doubt most would seek to state or justify such statements in a genuine sense. As you say, there's no harm in shooting the breeze. You come across like a good bloke with a rich and varied life and background. That's what life's about really.

Merry Xmas

Thanks very much mate. Very kind of you.

As Kermit once said to me, if we all met in a pub we would probably all get on great!

Yet on here we often spend more time focusing on our differences.

It's all cool between us.

Kermit in a pub? Do they serve soy milk in pubs now?

Yes I think it's the nature of and one of the drawbacks of the internet. Certain formats eliminate the nuance, back and forth and commonality you typically get in a real life conversation.

Quite true. But like a movie, if it was too much like real life, it would be boring.

That's true and a good way of putting it. We all need someone to break up the day!

What 'appropriate' punishment was meted out? I'm guessing a suspended sentence.

The men were remanded in custody ahead of sentencing in January, when the horrifying footage of the attack in Merton, south London, will be played in court.

What’s the interesting take? That you can find two entirely unrelated news stories about two entirely unrelated types of crime and post them together?
