I wouldn't drop any of them, as the alternatives don't look promising.
You can bet Roy will replace Zaha with Ayew or Schlupp with Kelly for Tomkins with Dann as cover on the bench.

But Painter, it is not working, we are not getting results.

Something needs to change.

I was also asking about when Benteke comes back, as clearly he will be played, let alone a fit Wickham.

So who do you drop then?

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

As Zaha is out, statistics (which never lie?) suggest we will not beat Leicester.

There is no solution to this fact and so, if we are bound to lose, why not go bananas and swap the defence for the (alleged) attack?

At least, for pities sake, give our non-striker a start. It would be a defining moment for him: s**t or bust. No greater incentive for Sorloth can there be.

We have to do something. We cannot wait until the new quota of 'saviours' are signed in January as we will be too far gone by then.

Right, this is why I’d love to see against Leicester

—————Wayne

Awb——Kelly—Sakho——Pva

—————Luka—Macca

Andros———————Ayew

——————Max

——————Sørloth

However, I’m sure we will see the same awful formation with Schupp and his monk haircut in midfield, and Ayew and Andros up front in a woefully sh*te front 2.

I’d give that team a go. At least it looks balanced with people playing in their best positions. As an aside anyone from Leicester reading this will be laughing their bollocks off thinking they will only have to walk out to pick up the three points. Maybe complacency is our only hope (but given we dicked them 8-0 over the 2 games last season it’s highly unlikely)

Agreed. To be fair, I'm not convinced we'll lose much and it might be a really beneficial freshen up.

Kelly always looked tidy next to Sakho when called upon last year. And to be honest, Wilf has done next to bugger all over the last few games. He really hasn't. So a break might be just what he needs too.

Look forward to potentially seeing Sorloth start a game, get some confidence from that and bang em in.

imagine signing for a club for a nice fee and being totally redundant... at the end of the day, a professional just wants to get out there and play, he needs to play.. we need to try at least. Then, loan out in jan.

Unfortunately the reason you do not get to play when the number one for you position is out injured is basically because you are not considered or showing in your workplace to be good enough. He may want to play but you have to show you are worthy of it and clearly to date he has not shown the management he is good enough.

Christ! This team looks very mid table championship.

Is ward fit ?

If so put him at Right Back and push AWB forward down the right wing.

He played in the U23s vs Bristol City.

Not sure if putting more players out of position is the answer but he did start out as a winger/forward I believe.

Wardy really struggles to stop the cross though, AWB is a superior defender despite a poor showing vs West Ham.

Something has to change though.
