However, when it comes to primary schools teaching far left ideological BS is not just wrong.....it's pure far left indoctrination.

I'm going to cut and paste a story from the Telegraph about a Labour council that's just given the go ahead to teach transgender crap in sex education classes about males having periods to primary school children'. This isn't just this council (Brighton) it's being pushed by the Royal College of Paediatricians and Child Health (RCPCH)

If my child was being taught that crap I'd pull them from the school.....Here's a heads up, they are trying to make this compulsory for all children.

School children will be taught that "all genders" can have periods in new sex education lessons, in a victory for transgender rights campaigners.

The advice to teachers was approved by Brighton & Hove City Council as they try to tackle stigma around menstruation.

The new advice follows a council report which said: "Trans boys and men and non-binary people may have periods", adding that "menstruation must be inclusive of all genders".

Bins used for menstruation products will be provided in all toilets for children, according to the report.

It also calls for transgender students and pupils to be provided with additional support from a school nurse if needed.

The report recommends that "language and learning about periods is inclusive of all genders, cultures, faiths and sexual orientations. For example; ‘girls and women and others who have periods'".

Brighton & Hove City Council said in a statement: "By encouraging effective education on menstruation and puberty, we hope to reduce stigma and ensure no child or young person feels shame in asking for period products inside or outside of school if they need them.

"We believe that it’s important for all genders to be able to learn and talk about menstruation together… Our approach recognises the fact that some people who have periods are trans or non-binary."

The same council also recently released a "Trans Inclusion Schools Toolkit" to help teachers treat gender identity sensitively.

It asks teachers to be respectful and inclusive of children who are questioning their gender, and tells them that purposefully not referring to children by their preferred pronoun or name can constitute harassment.

The toolkit also recommends schools adopt a non-gendered uniform so all children feel included, and to reduce bullying.

Tory MP David Davies told The Mail on Sunday that it was "insanity" for teachers to tell pupils that transgender boys can have periods.

He said: "Learning about periods is already a difficult subject for children that age, so to throw in the idea girls who believe they are boys also have periods will leave them completely confused."

However, leading doctors have previously recommended that primary school children are taught about LGBT issues.

Earlier this year, the Royal College of Paediatricians and Child Health (RCPCH) urged minister go further in their guidance on sex and relationship classes, which will become compulsory from 2020.

Draft Government recommendations say schools are free to determine how they address lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issues, ensuring teaching is “sensitive and age-appropriate”.

The Royal College said: “There needs to be a clear statement that LGBT people and relationships are part of teaching about healthy relationships in primary school. This can be demonstrated in relation to families - but also it is helpful to children to learn the meaning of terms such as lesbian, gay and bisexual”.
'

Well boys clearly can't have periods can they so David Davies is right that it would be confusing to be told that as a child. It's confusing for an adult to be told it too.

Truly bizarre times.....Something just considered centralist twenty years ago make you feel like a social conservative today.

It's ignoring nature in preference to sex issues....which is something that primary school children shouldn't even be concerning themselves with.

In fact I can see myself getting into rows if this is made compulsory because in 2020 I'll have my own male children in primary schools.

There's also some of the 'Jordan Peterson' situational stuff in there about 'preferred pronouns' with threats to teachers.

So to summarise. The vast majority must do cartwheels for a small minority. How truly left wing.

And androgynous uniforms? This will no doubt be encouraged for adults soon. Do they want us all to be so unattractive that we stop having sex altogether?

Makes you wonder what the real agenda is doesn't it.

This is Pythonesque to say the least.

But then, those public school chaps were still allowed to laugh at idiotic attitudes back then. Now, they might be arrested

University's should be cauldrons of free speech where students can freely debate and challenge all sorts of ideas, I don't agree with no platforming.

One thing I would pick Tommy Robinson up on was he kept asking students to name anything racist he'd said or done. They couldn't give specifics because they weren't prepared so he claimed a win. Well that was kinda unfair, most of us could give an opinion about a political party in general, but how many of us from memory could state dates and chapter and verse?

This is why people like TR should be invited to speak so students could research him and prepare their arguments accordingly. TR would then have to rebut specifics rather than vague generalisations. That would be a debate worth listening to.

When that guy from the National Front was on Question Time he was destroyed because he couldn't rebut proper questioning neither could he claim victim status because the establishment was shutting him up, he was on BBC 1.

I don't know if TR is a racist he says not and it is up to others to prove otherwise. However by no platforming him it means he does not have to answer informed critics who can quote chapter and verse.

Just a couple of points on an good post.

I keep hearing this....that he was destroyed on Question Time. Now I've never supported the BNP but this guy wasn't destroyed by arguments at all.

They spent their time name calling him and virtue signalling and then the media endlessly portrayed it as some kind of victory and now it keeps getting repeated and has become accepted mainstream history.

Also, these students didn't have Robinson just sprung onto them. They had ample time to research what he said....surely if they are going to call him a racist they would have evidence for it. I don't think that's too much to expect from supposedly the brightest young minds in the country.

This isn't 'Roger Penrose' levels of expectation.

If you call someone a racist in public you better have a good reason, it's as bad as being racist if your doing it with no evidence.

Agreed and TR plays that for all its worth. The blame lies with the students, TR is marmite and he knows it so they put their foot in their mouth without being able to back it up. All TR has to do is keep repeating when did I say something racist?

As I said previously door stopping someone with a camera might be good entertainment but it proves nothing. I would love to see TR invited to a debate and being grilled by students who have done their homework.

He would then have to answer specific questions and from that we would have a better idea of what his views are (good or bad). So once again it's the fault of the students for non platforming him and others.
