Just read the Fifield report. Not good news but given Tompkins and Dann stay fit (and AWB is only out for a game or three) there is plenty of solid back up.

Hopefully this is not the start of some end of season serious injury list!

Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time!

I'm trying not to be negative but could be the difference between winning an FA Cup or just coming up short. Would be moot if we lose to Watford but imagine our first 11 against United in the final this time, we'd stand a damn good chance.

With Kelly signing a new contract I hate to say it as Dann's been so loyal and excellent previously but I think it's time to hand Kelly his chance to take over long term.

Dann has definitely lost a yard and distribution was poor at Doncaster of all places. Still excellent and probably slightly better than Kelly at this stage but he can only decline now where Kelly has been getting progressively better after his disaster and confidence knocker of his left back season under Pardew.

It’s normal for him to be injured for a couple of months each season. I’m sure that’s why Dann was retained....Sakho is a bit of a sick note.
Has he ever been able to play a full season in his career ?

Massive loss for us. As much as I like Tompkins and Dann I’ve yet to see them play well together. Think both of them prefer to play on the right side? Think one of them, probably Tompkins alongside Kelly would be best. Even then the rest of the season without Sako will be difficult in my opinion?

Bookies are offering 1/125 odds against us going down. Any one who thinks we will be relegated from this position should stick £100 on and walk away with a cool £12500.

We have good depth at centre half so while we will miss his passing, defensively we should be ok with Kelly or Dann in there.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

The bloke had a dodgy knee since West Ham. Playing him was lunacy if Fifield's information is correct. Presumably Roy followed medical advice?

Or walk away £100 light. Which is what will happen.

I’m really hoping it’s not too serious. When he went down against West Ham I thought the worst but he got up and finished the game. Then he played at Leicester. Unlikely it’s ligament damage as he didn’t seem to twist it or overstretch it in either game. I’ve got a hunch it could be a knee cap issue. If it is he could be back in a few weeks.. fingers crossed. Although he makes some random errors he is immense for us. Part of a really strong defence.
