Financial services £119 bn

Professional services another £60 bn

So how do the fisherman exercise so much influence to the detriment of the others?

They don't. They each got one vote as did those in financial/professional services.

Hope that clears it up.

Really? Maybe you didn't listen to the Prime Minister yesterday. It is clear that this pressure group has been influential beyond its size when debating Brexit.

Do you remember the scollop batles earlier this year? Who was fishing whose fishing grounds?

do you know how the UK trawlers "farm" them compared with the local indigenous fishermen?

They were all fishing open grounds, the French couldn't fish them because of their own French government rules.

Do you think the French don't use trawlers?

Yep, really. One vote each, just like you and I.

It's not a debate, we had a vote.

Which bigger picture aren't I getting? Oh, of course, it's your fascination with immigration. You are simply switching your immigrants from one continent to others, as time will surely tell.

Henry viii broke away from Rome. Then the british Empire happened.

stay in Europe, stay humble.

I had to laugh at that, Henry breaking with the catholic church and hey! presto the British Empire is born.

Henry did actually part with Rome, he did not give them England and pay them to take us as well, as leave are now doing.

Voting isn’t the only form of influence, although you obviously know this and are just making the point because you don’t have a real answer.
