I am sure he is frustrated with it at the moment, because all the games apart from the Liverpool one,we should have picked up points. Our finishing has been a joke, we have created some great openings and wasted them. Look how many Jimmy Mac has had, he should have had about 5 goals so far, but it hasn’t gone for him. We need a bit of luck to go our way and we will be fine...

So Jordan went bust im 2010 because of a deal that collapsed in 2002. Ignoring the fact we got promoted and relegated in the eight years between that, if ITV digital was the reason, why did he Jordan continue to spend all that money on players like Kuqi? The year before we went into admin we paid £1m for Nick Carle FFS. Back then you couldn't keep talent if you got relegated? We kept hold of AJ!

What game are we playing?

Not blaming him for the quality of player, but his spending was clearly poorly managed. That's why we were in admin, not the collapse of ITV digital.

The failed ITV deal was years before Jordan went into administration, he failed due to poor leadership, nothing else. I was there the day he announced the ground was now his, in fact it belonged to Paul Kemsley, who in the end helped push Jordan over the edge.

People claiming ondigital had no impact o my just shows how you guys really don't have a clue so you are telling me if sky now pulls its tv money it wont affect clubs in few years time. As another posted stated SJ was willing to back managers they asked for players he used his own cash to fund them and there was ffp back then as well. You really need to learn the facts to claim because he had taken over which was reason for money loss again shows how you don't know what you are on about (he got the club for peanuts) The loses are because that league there is no proper revenue this isn't today with all these big sums flying around for teams coming down which is why they have to rush to get promoted just look at Villa come down manage to have big people didn't get promoted then had to completely strip everything so back when we was down there it would of been even worse SJ does talk some rubbish at times but that is how sales people are SP does the same thing have you even listed to his latest interviews I would guess you have but in your fantasy mind you read them as super positive because you love the guy

Sounds like a classic SJ bit of misdirection to me.

Finishes in the Premier League: 11th So at our worst there were five worse teams, on average we finish around 12th, which is pretty comfortable. We've won away at Anfield twice, Stamford Bridge twice, we've beaten quality Spurs and City sides. Not prepared to break the bank, apart from when a small club from South London signed players like Sakho and Benteke or paid the wages required to keep Wilf and sign Cabaye and Meyer. Not too mention the cost of signing Van Aanholt, Schlupp, Townsend, Sørloth, Tomkins, Luka and even Jimmy Mac. None of them were particularly cheap. How is spending more money using his head rather than his heart anyway? I'd say a better example is being able to know when he's made a mistake, like moving on from FdB. Good points raised... my main point is that Roy wasn't allowed to build his team this summer, starting with last january. Let's look at opening day this season, our squad was ranked 12th in regards to money spent. Fulham 11th, spent 30+ on Sessegnon. Few places up, West ham, 30+ on top player. My point is, nothing at palace is relevant or stable, it's lets splash the cash to fix a mess in 2017 and then say 'look i spend money'. Anyways, we are in a mess and the common denominator is Parish in my view.

Without wishing to sound like I'm sticking up for Parish surely the blame lies with Freedman. I would guess Parish just signs the cheques !!
