Watch it again - he looks and then does it.
He knew where he was and with the Ref stood right there he was a silly boy.
As for Sorloth - waste of space.

He certainly seems short of PL quality at this present juncture but in his defence he came to the club from Danish football, only gets fleeting opportunities and perhaps it it difficult to really make a statement in these circumstances.

Perhaps he needs to go out on loan to the Championship and play more regular football for his and our club's benefit.

Maybe it would help him who knows.
He gave away the free kick last night for needlessly pushin an opponent in direct view of the Ref.
Like Sakho from that free kick - what do these players think - maybe they don't?
It beggars belief it really does.

Sakho cost us big style last night! Was at the game and said to my mate that Dean was looking to give the penalty as he had just warned Spoken with him.

Absolutely irresponsible to then raise your arm in the way he did. Total lack of discipline especially so late in the game.

As for Sorloth really don’t know what to say! Seems to be so laid back or is it lazy in the way he trots around the pitch. The foul he gave away leading up to the goal was bloody pointless and lazy.

If his performances don't improve I suspect that will happen but only if we can get a suitable replacement in Jan. I'd like to see just one high quality addition of a striker in Jan. When you see Watford and Bournemouth scoring 11 and 12 goals this season and us on 5 you have to ask why we look so poor in this area ?

He did exactly the same intentional, needless and lazy foul in the closing stages of the Newcastle game, only that shove was near the opposition box and not in a dangerous position. Wholefully petualnt and just naive, so costly!

Sorloth is a lost cause and no club from the championship would touch him with a barge pole.I am at a loss as to how he made it as a pro football player becasue he can do nothing with a football.

Please god above in heaven let Benteke get his knee and head right and give the real Benteke back.

Sorloth seems to trot about up top like benteke does, that’s my main gripe with him. Earn the right to take it easy or step down mate.

Aye looks a smart player, nice link up but pretty toothless and no real pace or power for the PL imo.

Regrettably unless tekkers gets a goal in the next month we’ll need a new striker in jan.

On to Sakho, I’ve not been fine tooth-combing any performances yet this season, but what I do know is that our CB performances have been solid (even recognised by motd). He’s also had rotation either side of him so I’d suggest just giving it a few more games before picking holes.

So many f*** retards on this forum.

1. Sorloth is never given an actual chance.
2. Ayew is far, far worse. It's close to a living hell watching him play.
3. What has Benteke done for ya lately?

Sorloth is gonna go to another PL club and just rock it.

Sorloth without question is not Premier League quality, but age is on his side.
If we could get someone through the door in Jan, we could loan him to a competitive League 1 or Championship club where hopefully he would flourish, score a hat full of goals and come back full of confidence.
The problem at Palace is we dont have a willing runner (Ayew to an extent but not good enough) None of our forwards chase down every back pass or pressure the centre backs on the ball, we seem to have lazy forwards that unless their service is pin point accurate to their forehead, they arent interested.
Id love to see a striker who makes his own chances by hard graft, thats the sort of player Selhurst would adore.

In terms of Sakho, i think he had a good game against Bournemouth and had it stayed 1-1 would have probably got some praise on here for his interceptions & blocks etc, but hes too rash! The commentator said it himself.. "Sakho never seems to be in control of his arms or legs".
Hes very clumsy and makes me very nervous week in week out, but i dont think we have better, stats prove it.
His miss v Newcastle was terrible and the foul at Bournemouth was nothing short of despicable, but i do believe he improves our team (minus the last two mistakes made. We need to stick by him and not ostracise him.
Believe me i was pissed, i broke my tv remote and ranted online, but its done now, we cant change it. hopefully he has learnt the hard way for being petulant and moves on. Whats the point in being negative. lock your pitch forks back away and move on.

Welcome lehhhh I see you are new to the forum. Not sure if you are a genuine fan but I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

Over the years I have seen many poor strikers at Palace some of whom I hold in great affection because despite their lack of goals they put in a shift. If you can't score at least win the the ball, hold it up and rough up the centre half. I don't think Solorth is doing enough in that department.

I think we need to be looking to the academy.

Find a few lightning strikers with a bit of talent, get a decent coach who knows how to score in the Premiership, spend the next two years working on them every day, teach them how to play in the system and then roll them out and see how they get on.
