Interesting view. If that were the case, then any left leaning politician would just get rid of the BoE and just print their way to 'equality'.
Capitalism will always be tarred with the inequality it causes, which to be honest is dependant on the politicians more than anything else.

I do believe party donations should be banned and there should be some sort of public fund account for the established parties. Any parties trying to come through can be funded as they please but would need to have 100k signatures or something like that to be allowed 'into the club', when they would have to renounce any private funding.

No offence, but stop thinking that any politician (regardless of party) has any say bud, they don't, as they are nothing more than a 'face/mouthpiece' for the global financiers who truly dictate.
Proof being that despite trillions upon trillions of currency currently sloshing it's way around the globe, you/i have to give around 4x more of our time than granddad had to to acquire a similar lifestyle today.
Facts don't lie.

There's a very good book out at the moment called 'Moneyland which analyses the political and economic changes that lead to where we are now.

It argues that after Bretton Woods and in order to escape taxation, London began to print eurodollars and issue them outside the knowledge of the US legislators to whoever wanted them. Regulation was so lax that you could exchange real dollars for these with very little accountability and register your business anywhere.

What this has lead to is tax havens making up the third biggest economy in the world. This is the Capitalism which people are against nowadays, particularly after 3008, where QE in effect was pushed to prop up this economy at the expense of taxpayers, as it devalued our wages.

I do think there's an issue in the resentment of our time. Not because it isn't valid at the unfairness of companies generating wealth through our Labour and offering little to no returns to society of it. But we don't realise how to take it down, and are directing anger at the wrong places. On the lowest level that is towards migrants, above that to a government without the will to reclaim sovereignty on this issue.

Proof positive that we don't have a 'capitalist system'.
The end of Bretton Woods favoured ONLY the financial system as they could start to print money from thin-air (lucky them!) and sod the rest of us. The (most recent) start of them filling their boots.
We'll continue to pay for it forever.
For anyone that honestly believes that we live in a capitalist system.........We don't. We never have.

No, created from thin-air by a bank, then passed to the cronies do with however they see fit.
You/we get the privilege of owning (repaying) this debt and very little else.

Capitalism my aaaarse

Surely that is exactly what capitalism is. We are the victims and the beneficiaries of it. The issue is in the balance between the two.
Are you an advocate of communism or perhaps you have another alternative?

Sadly, your only talent is trolling other people...on multiple sites.
I probably understand the way the world works far better than many and certainly better than you.
The fact that I'm bothering to respond to you during a game is an indication of how bad we are playing. I'm using you as a buffer.

Define capitalism, or go back to the downlow.

edit ….why do feel that you understand the world better than many?
