Bet Andros would like to play at the Hawthorns every week, remember the goal he scored in the league, running over half the pitch and now that one tonight.

Great save there from Guaita.

Before that Kelly practically caught the ball and spun it harlem globetrotter style and still didnt get flagged for a handball.

Some hilarious sloppiness on the ball especially from WBA, but not a dull game despite the lack of quality in general play. We look very dangerous and should have a couple.

Crikey we are actually getting the crosses in here. Sorloth has had 2 headers and Schlupp had an absolutely free header. Benteke must be watching all these crosses.

He would have been watching them if he was playing too

Atmosphere is like a league 2 match with a hangover. It is sooooo quiet.

We have completely dominated a defensively suspect West Brom,

the oppo have been sharp in attack, but our reorganised defence has dealt with them comfortably.

IMO the front 5 have really grown into the game and Meyer at times has looked the new Yohan. Positive mentions to Sorloth, Jeff and Punch.

However, Townsend is a step above against these folks.

Happy happy JOY, JOY!

We look more solid in defence than them but although we are leading should be further ahead due to this. Would like to of seen Sorloth really attack his chance at the back stick. Think they will up the tempo in the 2nd but if we get a 2nd they may well wilt. COYP !!

Schlupp should have scored and Andros had one cleared off the line, probably should be 2-0 on balance of play.

They look woeful.

Lately watching Palace I am not sure what our plan of attack actually is. We seem to want to play through them but thats not so easy against a well drilled outfit. Getting some width and pinging some crosses in to the man mountain up front seems to be a possible approach here.

Really enjoying seeing the lads amd their quick passing game. Even Punch looks capable. Not sure Sørloth is though.
Hoping we can boss the second half but guessing West Brom will press much higher.

Nah tekkers is great at getting his head (or shoulder) on the ball. He just cannot for the life of him direct it into the onion bag anymore.
