Let's be honest, there's no way anyone can replicate what the HF achieved over the years, but could still be worth getting a few likeminded lads and lasses together who can get stuck into keeping the songs going in B Block? We can't just leave it to the Arthur to pick up the slack. I agree there has been times before the HF when the atmosphere at SP was good, but we mustn't assume this will just magically happen again. Let's not forget it might not be that easy: So when things ain't going right on the pitch it could be tough. I do reckon we need as many fans who want to sing to club together as much as possible. Definitely think getting Block B running again is important. But wherever we are, let's keep it simple & positive - get some songs started, back every chant and keep it going. COYP

A new ultras group? SMH..A club generated new ultras group is NOT what we need and puts us in the plastic category of support..that is not how this should play out. It just won't work, The HF and their ultra mentality was an organically grown movement at Palace and It led to an incredible atmosphere which kept going through the good times and the bad. This embarrassing request of flag wavers and drummers by the club to fill that section is not the answer and would p!$$ on the legacy of what that section was. However this plays out with the HF, the club's desperate attempt to keep that section going because of what it brings to not only the team but the profile of the club (everyone in football talks about it) is ridiculous and like I said won't work. The fact is Block B was loud before the HF and it will be loud after..we will just all have to pick up the slack. If the HF ultimate goal is to reform behind the goal then hopefully one day that will be a reality..for now we all sing loud..keep the place rocking..but for God sake we don't manufacture a replica HF and embarrass the club and destroy the legacy of that section. Jono.

100% agree there should be no club involvement. I don't think anyone wants that, not even the club after the mess with the HF. 100% agree there's no way anyone should try to do a pale imitation of what the HF done. I'd say drop the 'Ultras' description. Would be embarrassing. However, I do think it's a chance to get some sort of informal singing section going amongst the fanbase. In the Premier League era it's unusual to suddenly have a section of 100 seats (in what is otherwise a sold out stadium) and it would be better to fill it with supporters who want to move seats and get a bit more lively, if you know what I mean. It could mean that bloke who keeps standing up and singing and blocking your view might eff off, alternatively it means you can move away from that bloke who keeps moaning at you for standing up and singing! That's gotta be a win-win for everyone :-) No idea if there's anyone who thinks the same, but us fans probably need to sort something out now so if you agree, post here or contact the OP. COYP

And if we don't do something, there's also a good chance the club will end up selling the tickets on the day to Premier League tourists. Sad state of affairs when the camera pans to the legendary Palace fans and there's a coach load of losers taking selfies.

If it’s not season ticket holders it’ll more than likely be groups of mates who could only get 2 match ticket bundles in the lower Holmesdale in the front rows. That’s as long as agencies don’t buy them up and tout them off to Japanese tourists. There’s loads in the kop and the Chelsea end floor flicking V’s etc but not 100 together.

So are the HF members currently with ST in Block B saying they will stop attending and won't sing? Am becoming confused
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Whether they’ve all gone to the same stand or block nobody knows, but you can’t get 100 seats together anywhere so it could be interesting, or not really.

If you would like to move your season ticket to block b, it will still be the singing section then you will have to ring the box office
