He'll need to impress quickly coming off the bench. Its the only way he'll get a look in. I've seen him play before and he's been loaned out but he hasn't set the world on fire. Hopefully, he's improved.

He is better than Sorloth and probably as good as "couldn't hit a barn door Benteke" right now - give him some game time!

SIMPLE The one good thing about Benteke's paralysis in front of goal is that he became less selfish and had his best assists total for a season. I suppose there is a chance he could become a better all round player this season but I wouldn't put any money on it (and neither are other teams by the look of it)

Two of his assists spring to mind, a sideways pass to Sako just inside the opposition half which Sako then went on a 40 yard run before smashing it into the top corner. The next game at a corner, Benteke won the ball which was going wide of the goal until Luke popped up, chested it down and fired it into the goal. Two joke assists. The recent World Cup as highlighted that stat is useless.
