Quite. Not only that but we shouldn't forget he's also 18 months away from 24. Never mind 27 months from 24 years and 9 months old. Also, it's only 1 year ago that he was a year younger. Though even then he was 21. And 9 months. Well, in 3 months. Plus he's only 2 doors away from being his next-door-neighbour-but-one. Avoid.

I'd like to know how you got your yellow card

Simulation.

However there was definite contact from behind.

As a woman, I can step aside, or step up my game...

What I meant was that after 23 you're not a young player anymore and you're supposed to already have close to 100 matches at least at second division level. Which Ollie Watkins will not have by 23.

But I guess that meaning wasn't easily understood...

Not the most conclusive of updates, not much in the article tbh but if we are looking at around 15 mill for a striker/winger I'd have him over Yannick, Ings or Ayew. Worth the risk imho and unlike the others could rise in value.

Out of the players we have been linked with over past few days this one looks to make sense in many ways

In comparison with the players you listed he'd definitely be the better option.

But 15 million for a fairly good Championship player of 22 and 1/2 years? That's 5 million more than what Man City are asking for Patrick Roberts, who is younger and more accomplished. 5 times more than what a 26 years old winger like Hernani from Porto costs. What Arsenal wants for 28 year old national team hard working player Welbeck. And pretty much what Roma wants for 26 year old Italian sensation, Champions League double scorer against Chelsea last season, El Shaarawy.

Yes, MAYBE you could make a profit with Ollie Watkins even if you pay 15 million, something similar to how Demarai Gray from Leicester is now very well rated after 2 years at top level, but in terms of performance in the years while you'd own him, there are much better options. The world doesn't stop at England's border.

BUT the article makes it clear that Brentford doesn’t want to sell?

Could be lazy journalism but article states we are offering Sorloth as part of the deal. Brentford owners also own FC Midtjylland and know him from his time there.

Fantastic, I’m not working, I’ll pop round and drive him there. Oh...and take his wallet off him so he can’t afford the taxi home.

So we didn't like it when Arsenal did it to us but we're happy to offer our dross to another club for one of their best players? I can only assume the cash side is spread over 20 years and half of it is based on us winning the World Cup.
