I'm not sure whether we are still discussing this point or has everyone gone off at tangents as usual. If it's still relevant I noticed on the local West Midlands news that there were a huge number of Muslims in the protests Damned Muslims. Always making trouble and blocking out everyone else.

Thank you Maple, it is a great example. However, I offered up no endorsement of China's internal politics or indeed external. Apparently if I note that China sneers at white progressive liberals it means that I'm ok with its human rights record.....or indeed that I regard 'progressives' as being particularly good at human rights. Talk about a conflation. Edited by Stirlingsays (13 Jul 2018 7.11pm) Now where did I mention an endorsement Stirling? I have no doubt that you are not OK with China's human rights record. That is why I thought your choice ironic. But I did not make any personal comment about your good self, I try to avoid that. As such, there can have been no conflation.

Overall I'd like to think moderates stayed at home because they have no reason to condemn his policy of restricting travel from countries with a large number of extremists. There are a 2 BAME people on Channel 4 right now, one being Majid Majid the Lord Mayor of Sheffield, who just pointed out the diversity of all the white people standing in the crowd behind him with banners about Hitler. The whole thing is rather childish. Another disgustingly biased interview with Trump's former deputy assistant a few minutes before. Not a fan of his trade tariffs, or his wall as migration from Mexico is seasonal and it would be a ridiculously expensive way of ultimately making it harder for people to return. Obviously a rapey old git and hardly self-make but I'm not going to waste my energy dismissing his policies as 'racist'. Edited by johnfirewall (13 Jul 2018 8.03pm)

You may not get the correct answer but you can still get points for showing your workings. No I don't. You need to stop telling lies and misrepresenting people. You need to stop playing the victim in a pathetic attempt to implicate others. You give Lower Addiscombe a bad name.

Is there any end to your lies and slimy behavior? Any Muslim who protests against the British army, the army of the country where they live and might have been born, can go and live somewhere else as quickly as possible as far as I'm concerned. I don't care if you have a problem with that. You are in a tiny minority if you think such a protest is acceptable. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (13 Jul 2018 2.29pm) If anyone thinks the Army is somewhere that it shouldn't be they have every right to protest. They help pay for it after all. Muslims have as much right to protest as any other person does. To suggest other wise is Islamophobic. We live in a free(ish) and secular country that does not have special rules for different religious faiths with regard to political freedom. I didn't believe our army should have been in Iraq and protested about it. That was my right. There is a small minority of Islamophobic people in our country. The vast majority of them are as well informed on the nature of Islam and the nature of state terrorism as a bag of spuds.

Presumably no offensive action is allowed in any Islamic state - or face problems domestically? Reminds me of getting murdered for drawing a cartoon but on a bigger scale.

It's a tie between that and "check your privilege" for most annoying quote spoken by the special snowflakes.

It should occur to anyone with a brain that soldiers just do what they are told? Or maybe you think that they should all resign immediately and start a hippy commune?
