Prepare for a response like this... Before giving PCNs, our CEOs check for any parking items displayed and record the details. The CEO saw no Pay & Display ticket. This can happen, for example, when people forget to display Pay & Display tickets or when Pay & Display tickets fall off windscreens. It is unfortunate if this happened with you, but a Pay & Display ticket is only valid if it is displayed so that a CEO can see all its details. I do fear you may be correct Steph

If they really wanted to make money they could just come to my road daily and they'd make a fortune. Whilst it seems harsh, it is the drivers responsibility to pay and to make sure they display items correctly.

I have had a few encounters with traffic wardens. These nearly boiled into physical violence,...which is not the answer. I discussed the parked van issue with warden (face to face), and he fcked off. Was pleased to hear that 2 years later he had the 5hlt beaten out of him by another motorist. (I think I mentioned earlier, that violence is not the answer. ) Edited by Forest Hillbilly (04 Jul 2018 2.13pm)
I disengage, I turn the page. |

Nowadays, everyone wears body-cams, so my earlier input to face-to-face resolution, is no longer valid

End of the day it stops others from blocking your vehicle in or out of your driveway. At the end of the day, they are doing their jobs. If people parked legally then they wouldn't have to worry about PCNs.

Yes, but I’m sure you would agree that some are “doing their jobs” far more enthusiastically than they should be...
