It is tragic that we have to have a win-at-all-costs attitude to the game but no real alternative means for fringe players -- especially our own prospects -- to play the kinds of games they need to play. You do tend to think what the f*** is the point in having a youth team? Erm, you didn't see a youth team player come through the ranks this year then or the others out on loan? Also, you don't think the club has behind closed door friendlies? We are in a far better position now to produce talented youth - sure they dob't always start but that's due to the higher standard required.
