If we can sign him and he keeps reasonably fit this for me is a massive step forward. Plus Jake Livermore on the books would give us plenty of midfield strength.

Why would you say that? I’d say that we’re a much more attractive proposition than West Ham presently. What with a manager he knows well, players like Milo, Wilf and Andros to play alongside and a set of fans who always support the team ferociously through thick and thin. Can’t see why you’re down on our chances to be honest. We have ended up above wetspam every season apart from 1 and we have a better team than wetspam does depend on who pays the more wages

He’s certainly not out of reach. We’re his preferred choice according to reports. Expect he wants to play in front of some real noise rather than a poxy plastic library every other week.
He'll do anything for a tanner. |

Wow, a midfield of Luka, Cabaye and Wilshire would be really quite something. I'd actually prefer him to RLC...

“If we can get him fit” is irrelevant as he’s never fit. Name me a crocked player with a history of several different serious injuries who managed to shake off his injuries and play regularly. I can’t name a single one. Would be a massive waste of money. Livermore, yes please.

I will name you one immediately, Vincent Kompany of Man City will play for Belgium in this WC after years of injuries.

Wilshire was fit as a fiddle when I saw him at the Emirates a few weeks ago, he was excellent. He is still only 26 so while his injury record is not good that is for the medics to judge, look at Kompany for example. For quality he is the best, and that is what RH wants most IMO.

I thought West Ham were in talks with the PSG playmaker. Btw someone on the bbs said Wilshire all of a sudden has started following Wilf and Wickham on Twitter. Make of that what you will. He probasbly would like to know what the weather is like in Barcelona.

A lot of the league games he missed last season were due to selection rather than injury.
