Loved Bolaise when he was with Palace and agree he was playing better than Wilf when we sold him. He is also a very strong player who could muscle out full backs. Having said that we must look to get a balanced squad in place for the start of next year and a striker with a bit of pace and can scores goals must be the number one priority but there is a lot of work to be done with the high amount of out of contract players

I loved Yala - always played with a smile and occasionally his tricks would come off. But when I heard they were offering £27m I nearly offered Parish to drive him up there myself. I'm not convinced bringing him back is a good idea. If you're 28, moving back to your small old club who regularly battle relegation could be demotivating. Also he was very inconsistent but had started to perform more regularly as he pushed for his move. Is he going to get back to that level? He wasn't there for very long. I mean even before his injury I heard murmurs of discontent from their fans. And even if he was cheap (what's cheap?) to buy, he's on bigger wages. I'd rather gamble on one of Matteo's suggestions. Someone younger, cheaper and with something to prove. I like the idea of youth coming through or being bought in but I think that should be a 4th wide player rather than 3rd who is immediately challenging for a starting berth. The issue with the Everton fans is that when they spend big on players, they expect them to perform to that value immediately and consistently. We always knew he wasn't that sort of player, they didn't, but I don't think that should dissuade us from going back in for him at the right money. For me, I'd offer £12m and give him Sako's wages when we offload him back to Wolves.

For a player that is coming back from a serious injury and lacking form? We do need another attacking midfielder unless Sako stays but we also need a midfield playmaker to improve on Cabaye (who we still need to keep for another season).

As much as I liked him as a player, I seem to remember that Bolassie chased a pound more than he chased the ball. Didn't his agent continually snipe away in the background?

I love him but I’m sure it wouldn’t go well if we got him back. I’d rather give Sako a new contract and spend the transfer fund somewhere else.

I'd love him back, far too early to write him off in my opinion. I reckon playing with Wilf would get him going again and if we could get them both on form they could be a real threat again.

Bolasie hasn't looked the same since returning from his injury and he still has the end product issue. Plus which AIUI he's done something to piss off the Goodison lot (not exactly difficult I grant you). Not the player he was.

We were just starting to see the best of Sako before the injury. He would offer something different from the bench so I would keep him. Forget Bolasie.

He's so much better at shooting and dribbling than Townsend. Also has more pace. Almost back in form as well, got a goal and assists late for Everton. No-brainer for me, provided we get a deal

I realise he has had a serious injury but there really are not that many players who leave Palace and improve vastly, grass not always greener!.
