I only knew Alan this season, he sold me quite a few tickets and did so at a very reasonable price when he could have asked for more. Also offered to buy me away tickets if I was struggling to get any. I can't really add much to what's already been said here which I wholeheartedly agree with - I went to several matches this season he was able to attend and sat beside him so got to know him a little. RIP

Didn’t know him personally but remember him popping up frequently and contributing to the discussion. Very sad indeed, will certainly be missed on the HOL. RIP mate.

I'm sorry to say I never knew Alan personally, but the number of heartfelt tributes that have come in from those who did is a real testament to who he was as a person and how much he meant to so many. My condolences to his family and friends at this sad time.

The world has lost an absolute diamond there. I will always remember Alan with great memories. He really was one of the good guys in the world and watching a Palace game with him and the gang was always a pleasure. Such a sad day. All my thoughts and love are with his family. I will be raising a glass to him this evening and at the game next Saturday. And Al.....I promise to honour the 4-0 Sincere Condolences to all his family and his many friends on here. I didn't ever meet him but it's obvious from the posts on here that he was well liked and well loved. PS: Kells... I think we might beat Leicester 4-0 on Saturday... he's gonna be really mad!
You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name. |
