I'll stick with my view that both Stoke & Southampton have teams capable of putting a good run together, and one or both probably will. I think we need to get ourselves above Brighton & Huddersfield. We do that and we protect our position from those two.

Agreed, hopefully the players aren't complacent after yesterday. The way saints and Stoke have been playing, they could well be in a better position by now.

I agree with this. One may, but both won’t. They both play Swansea, so if they both beat Swansea it will drag them backwards. I feel we are on the edge of the relegation battle now, not squarely in the middle of it. Not completely safe, but no one but the most pessimistic would foresee relegation from here.

I feel with Southampton's inability to hold on to a lead is going to cost them dear.

Arsenal last week and yesterday at home to Chelsea.

Can't see them getting anything at Leicester and the fa cup semi final is an unwanted distraction for them.

Btw would take Redmond and Austin in a heartbeat.

Any team with more points than us is obviously in a better position as results can be so unpredictable at this time of the season. While we are all so close at the bottom of the league the teams to watch are those with games in hand.

Dont agree mate and if you check the relegation odds neither do the bookies. Would you rather have 1 extra point but still have to play Spurs, Burnley, Man City, Man U and Liverpool ? ( Brightons run in) or one less point and still to play Watford, Leicester, Stoke, and West Brom (CPFC run in).
I know which scenario I prefer.

I know. Crazy that Brighton could still get relegated looking at the table but it might happen. Please!

Having had a quick glance at the games we're not out the woods just yet.

There is nothing stopping some of the teams below us going on a bit of a run, but let's see how it transpires.

Think two more wins will see us safe, would be great before the last game

WE have not been that good at hanging onto points against the top teams either.

Austin's wages are quite expensive for a sick note. £80k or £100k. Not sure we'll be doing that much more in the near future.

Interesting game Monday. Stoke loose they're as good as down and West ham probably safe. A draw keeps stoke down there and West ham within reach of us. Stoke win and we go above west ham without even playing...
