I look at it as you have to expect the clubs around us can achieve 3 wins out of 6, as the worse case scenario. 9 points.

So we ideally should be looking at 3 wins. Which is 45% of what we have chivied so far out of 32 games. So it's a big ask, so like at this point we have won 7 times, you can expect 2 more wins, so i would say we are looking to get 7 more points.
Now, West brom won't catch us.. stoke and southampton can, but hudds can fall too, so i won't be happy until it's confirmed.

All we need worry about is Southampton and Stoke, and i see neither getting more than 4 points out of their remaining.
Southampton gonna have to pull off a miracle given who their remaining 6 are against, stoke have it easier but their team is just bad. Wont even mention WBA as they were down the moment they came up.
Ive never felt safer.

I know we were all thinking 39-40 points needed ten games back, now i am thinking 35 gonna be enough, maybe even 33 !

WBA came up 8 years ago (they've been in the premiership since 2010)

I think Eagles should get 6 points from the last 6 games.

However not sure if that will be enough this time.

I am expecting Saints Stoke and Huddersfield be about the same.

Don’t think we have any other choice but to be cautiously optimistic. Having said that I think this notion of an “easier” run in is a bit smoke & mirrors. We’ve had a few run ins beating the big boys to stay up so I don’t think it really makes much of a difference and could in fact prove to be more of a challenge.

Spirit hasn’t ever really been a problem at the club, hence us always having a shout against anyone. Professionalism seems to of been the longstanding major issue over recent years, hence us always getting into this mess in the first place.

Fairly confident, whatever happens, this’ll be the closest it’s gone since we’ve come up. Also fairly confident this is the last time we can pull off one of these great escapes, if indeed we can.

If we win the next two games confidence will be so high that the remaining games will be a stroll.

But lose these two then the pressure will be on
and it will then only take a couple of 'out of the blue' results from the rest and a run of bad luck for us and our resolve (and nerves) will be stretched.

The thought of needing 3 points against West Brom is not appealing.

I agree. As long as we maintain the level of play we have shown against the big boys and Huddersfield.

Southampton play

Arsenal
Chelsea(H)
Leicester
Bournemouth(H)
Everton
Man City(H)

+Swansea

Huddersfield dont have it any better, if they dont get points from their next 2 games i would say they are doomed and Stoke will overtake them.

As to Palace, i will go out on a limb and say 5 will be enough, but we will get 13.

You might want to add them up again, either way though enough to stay up.
