A win tomorrow night could have a huge say on the rest of season..

Confidence boosted
Out of the bottom 3
More players to return in coming weeks
Realistically, only a couple more wins needed after that

I’m going to be singing from start to finish tomorrow night in th Main Stand.

Now is the time! COYP

Wish he would, but he won't. He'll just post, I was right to be concerned but am delighted to be proved wrong. Then half way through next season he'll start predicting we'll go down again. So predictatable

What IS predictable are the brickbats hurled my way for daring to express an opinion that we will be relegated.

That said, let's actually stay within the confines of the subject matter and not veer into Anti-Willo territory which only serves to de-rail this thread.

I believe I have provided sound, valid and cogent arguments as to why I believe we will be relegated.Let's go down this route rather than turn this into yet another tedious and unwanted Willo thread.Thank You.

I am very optimistic about us staying up.

We have some very winnable games still to play.

Wilf back soon and hopefully one or two others.

We will get 37 points which i believe will see us safe.

My worry is our current poor performances and a lack of a 'Plan B' to cover our horrible injury list.

It is a nonsense to play two tall centre forwards. So far they have not gelled and it is unreasonable to expect that they will in the short term.
Play one or the other but not both.
Resting Benteke just might give him the incentive to get going, especially with the World Cup coming up.

Lately, it has been 'backs to the wall', stuff to keep the score down. Heroic but unproductive,

Surely, Roy Hodgson with his immense experience, can come up with some new ideas to see us through until key players (Zaha, Cabaye, Sakho, Tomkins) are fit?

Exactly!!. CPFC is either at the top fighting or at the bottom fighting. There have only been a very small number of years of mediocrity in middle table dullness.
If it is relegation so be it, I hope not but it is more odds on than not due to position, form and fixtures at the moment.
But the Premier league is not the be all and end all. It’s great but has also ruined real football and we nor any other team have a Devine right to be there. I don’t agree with some that seem to only be here to state CPFC should beat so and so when there is no right to that. Anyway, CoYP!!.

That’s why I only normally read this site, there seems to be too many that do not allow opinions and discussion and instead resort to basic ‘cyber bullying’ with a ‘you can’t see me so I can say what I want’ attitude.
I would say most opinions on this site are valid and don’t warrent the attack they get, just sensible discussion but that would mean a social education for some who take pleasure in thinking up sarcastic ‘funny’ but abuse ridden comments

The white flag wavers were saying this the season before we got promoted and during the first 3 games before the board had a word with freedman and signed Bolasie, Delaney and Moritz.

And Parish we should drop the loser mentality.

If we fight to the last whistle in every match we may just do it and finally some of the poor operations may change.

This.
Relegation back to The Championship (our natural level imo) doesn't bother me one iota.

Then we may as well just give up now imo. Be the best we can be.

Think positively.

Get those fixtures against the top six out way after the next few games, where many expect no points and go on a run like Swansea have.

Plenty of winnable games ahead!!
