We now top the table of injuries. Arron Wan-bassika (age 20) did very well. Our under 23 and under 18 teams are doing well. Hope Roy gives some more of them chances. Remember that Kane is 24 and Ali is 21. Nice to see Kirby (holder of an Under 17 World Cup Medal on the bench. COYP

I think there is every chance we will be in the bottom three going into the Man Utd game and it will be the same as today with a backs-to-the-wall job and in all probability another defeat.

One can say that it will be a different picture when the injured players return but they will be returning at different stages and may a take a couple of games to get match-fit at a time when games are running out and every game is a 6-pointer.

I have advocated for a few weeks that I could not see us surviving and being pilloried as I have predicted this before and been proved wrong. But then was then and now is now.

Having analysed the current situation from different angles I firmly believe we will be relegated and when we do one can just imagine the ordure that will be heaped on a certain Mr Parish !

Despite the very real possibility of us being in the bottom 3 by the end of March, with the remaining fixtures we have it remains well with our capabilities as a team to get the required points. It goes without saying we need Wilf to return along with Sakho to frankly start earning his £ and return to training.

Without a shadow of a doubt we’re in the crap but looking at remaining fixtures of teams around us there is no way we should write ourselves off at this stage. BHA despite being on 31 points have a nightmare of a run in so keep the faith. As Roy says it’s where we are at the end of the season that counts, not at the end of March.

At least we're used to scrape the bottom of the table, wonder how Brighton, Huddersfield and some of the others will react when they drop into bottom 3.

What gives me great hope is that Roy seems capable of organising and getting a performance out of the team even when we are down to bare bones, plus his record against teams in and around us is pretty good (if we don't win we don't lose). If we had to put out the same 11 until the end of the season I think we'd struggle, but all being well we'll have the likes of Zaha, Sakho, Cabaye and maybe even the forgotten RLC back and with those faces I think Roy's nous plus the talent we have I think we'll survive, but we desperately need some luck with personnel.

We have (on paper) all of our toughest games in the next four matches which if the injury situation pans as out as you would hope would mean we'll have a much stronger team for the all important run in. Other teams (especially West Ham) need to win points right now as their tougher games come in the last 6. The battle for CL places means that it will be a real battle at the top and aside from possibly Chelsea are all finding form. It doesn't bode well for our games against United and Liverpool, but you never know what might happen.

You firmly believe we will be relegated every season. We will stay up and if we don’t our injuries will be what sends us down not losing 1-0 to Spurs.

What about calling Townsend to leave the ball and then fouling their left back but luckily no pen given? Pathetic !
He should have got the cross before Kane headed in. For another cross shortly before that he came for it and completely missed it.

He is our only keeper so we are lumbered with him and have to support him but please don’t tell me he’s excellent when he’s a liability !

Yesterday was one of his best games. Some outstanding saves.

What I have predicted before is irrelevant as that was then and now is now.

With all our injuries etc, and games to come we really are in the 'Merde' and I just don't 'Buy' the view that all our players will return from injury to play in the so called 'Winnable' games and 'Hey Presto' everything will be rosy in the garden.

I was watching Hull v Sheff Utd the other night and reflecting that we will be playing in that Division next season. There is going to be a great deal of blood letting at the end of this season with ordure heaped on Steve Parish in large quantities.

Well Huddersfield did drop into the bottom three and have since responded with 6 points from 6. Brighton also got perilously close and have now picked up 8 points from 12. I just hope we can put together a similar sort of run when our crocks return.

Off topic, apologies, but although he made some good saves he also made some errors including flapping at the cross from which Kane scored. He rarely has a sound 90 minutes.

On topic - we need 10 points from games against Huddersfield, Brighton, Stoke, West Brom and hope we can pick something up against Watford and Leicester. Do that and we should be ok. Will we ? - Yes.

Problem is we won't "Do that".
Can you really see us getting 10 out of 12 pts from Huddersfield,Brighton, Stoke and WBA ? I beg to differ.

You can't say '' we won't ''....you can say '' I don't think we will ''.

I agree that to do it requires our top players returning and delivering, but after yesterday's performance I think it would be disrespectful to the players and the manager to write them off. They don't look like they've thrown the towel in.
