A win tomorrow puts us in 11th going into next weekend (provided Watford fail to beat Chelsea). Draw and we stay 15th, lose and we drop to 16th.

A win is very, very important

Newcastle, Stoke, Huddersfield, WBA, Brighton. 5 wins to safety! Feasible, but not straightforward.

Only Swansea below us picked up a point. We can keep it that way by beating Newcastle. Do that and we're 5 clear on 29 with a better GD than all below before some big clubs next.

Of the clubs below us, before today, Southampton Bournemouth and Brighton all got three points and Swansea a point. That's hardly results going in our favour is it? It's bloody vital we win tomorrow, otherwise a fifth team below us will also pick up a point or three.

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

Need a result tomorrow. The 5 fixtures after that are very tough. A win tomorrow will give us the boost we need.

Before today’s games the Cherries were above us.
It’s down to us to get to 40 points ASAP.
A win tomorrow is vital and we will be 5 points clear,a draw and we are 3 points clear which we were before today.

Dave - Bournemouth were above us this morning on 28pts, now on 31. They are, of course, now world-beaters.

Arsenal might embarrass Everton even worse than us

I think a mixed bag of results. Southampton and Brighton winning is s*** but Huddersfield, West Ham, West Brom, Stoke losing and Swansea only drawing ain’t bad. Need to get a result against Newcastle though.

Why look at how other teams are doing.

It is the quality of our play that determines our fate.

The squad looks full of quality but lack of cover for injuries and no fit youngsters coming through remain unaddressed problems.

Just play to your strengths and enjoy too - don't get stressed and too negative.

I believe Everton fans are not convinced by big Sam I reckon they could turn on him after today's performance which plays into our hands for next or is that just wishful thinking.

Arse 4 Everton 0 so far. Wonder if their £30 mil England keeper was to blame?
