Again a total waste of money.I`d rather see Parish splash the cash on a deasent striker.

I think its between Sorleth and Hugill and I'd prefere Sorleth. More of a risk but greater potential and younger so more developability.

This is what I would call a glowing reference, sounds a very good player who, could do very well in the PL. But still young and would need time to adjust. So not a quick fix. He is not a quick fix that will take the PL with storm, but I think he will do fairly well and then put you on to glory already next year. I am certain he will become a fan favourite for you! My insight knowledge also tells me he is very close at signing with you and only a health check away. It will be very interesting to see what you offered. For those of you who does not know, FC Midtjylland has the same owner as Brentford FC. After Benham become owner the prices of players have gone up alot, since the club does not have to sell anything to survive. I consider Sørloth on pair in quality with Pione Sisto whom FC Midtjylland sold to Celta Vigo for a much to low price around 6.5 million £

Hugill is awful in my opinion and factor in his age not worthwhile. Sørloth has potential and he is great. I follow the Danish League, Serie A and PL closely and even the championship abit. I think Sørloth has what it takes to be a striker in PL. The Danish league has become stronger and it is filled with young talents, those talens often went to clubs in the Netherlands (like Ajax etc) for almost nothing, then to be sold for 10-20 million £ by Ajax, nowadays clubs in Denmark will just sell directly to larger leagues and thus get the prices clubs like Ajax would have gotten. I am certain your opinion would be difference if he was a Ajax starter and their most valued player, the fact is times how shifted abit and not all talents with huge potential goes to middle clubs before hitting the big road. Another thing you might factor in is that Danish teams often play in Europe (both EL and CL) FC Midtjylland have beaten clubs like Southampton over 2 matches and won a match against Man U in recent times.

Sørloth is a step in wrong direction, simply not good enough for PL. Would rather have us to pay up for the Lille captain in midfield.

Exactly what we need for backup striker. Now tell me we're still going to buy a first team striker to play alongside/compete with Benteke. Because this is not enough on its own.

Why don't we back the judgment of those at the club who are the experts instead of writing potential signings off before they have even had their photo shoot.
Bring back Brolin |

Do Premier League clubs have experts in analysing players and if so why do they buy so many duds? Are we any different to the other Premiership clubs in our ability to find talent and sign it?

I can confirm (unofficially ofc) that you will sign Sørloth and that he will cost over 12 million £ I hope you let him play and develop, because if you take good care of him, then he will not just be your salvation this season, but he might turn into a dream signon.. He will become the most expenssive player from the Danish League in history and that is fully justified. As long as FC Midtjylland is owned by Benham, it will be costly to buy players. I look forward to see Sørloth score goals for you and help you in the PL! I know alot of you are sceptic, but you really should not be.

Honestly some of the miserable b**tards that come on here I think on some level actually want us to fail so they have something else to moan about.

Are we any different to the other Premiership clubs in our ability to find talent and sign it? Clubs use extensive analysing of players and some even take it to the next level. Brentford and FC Midtjylland use smartodds IE and I have some knowledge about the system. You can't use it alone, but it can give you vital information and everything is taken into account. But we are talking about humans here and humans are full of flaws. Not everyone is cut out for PL, just as not all might be able to play in the Spanish league, even if they are worldclass.. With Sørloth you have a striker that has all you need in PL and the potential to become not just great but outstanding. But there are never any guarantee about anything. Abit about Smartodds
