I would take mention of all the injuries with a 'Pinch of salt'.W.Ham will field a strong team on Tuesday night and we will do well to get a point. Well that will have to be a strong team without Lanzini, Arnautovic, Carroll, Masuaka, Fernandes and Sakho and possibly Antonio, Obiang, Ayew and Fonte.

I take your point, Willo, but Lanzini, Arnautovic, Carroll, Masuaka are definitely out-the latter through susprension- and West Ham's David Moyes is saying Obiang has a serious knee ligament injury. These 5 are out for sure and it still seems likely one or two of the others too. 50 years as a Palace supporter doesn't inspire optimism, however.

I'm in a very cynical mood tonight - probably best I go out for a pint or two ! Regards the game, I would take a point.

Wet Spam are there for the taking, playing average football and an injury list longer than ours. I fully expect to be outplayed from start to finish and lose 3-0.

If this is what transpires, the 'Alarm bells' will really be ringing. Amongst other things we need to sort out our midfield 'Engine room'.Cabaye is not the player of old, doesn't last the 90 mins and doesn't give the team the energy we need in that vital area. Isn't he also out with an ankle injury? Complain by all means, but pick on players who are actually fit to play.

Surely I can pass judgement on a player who has been a regular and gets picked when he is fit.I recall the Cabaye of old - sadly he doesn't possess the legs he had and we need a tad more energy in that vital 'Engine room'.

Not when your comment was directly referable to the West ham game in a thresd headed "west ham".
