Stuff I find funny? Well I gave you a list of a few shows, you should definitely check out It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, if you haven't already, I think you'd probably like it. I think you'll find that BBT is generally disliked amongst "nerds" because of it's bullying stereotypical tone. I think that may explain the problem you have with this "Woy" issue, bullying and humor are completely incompatible in my book, I just don't find it funny, I know many people do, otherwise a lot of bullying wouldn't happen, but it's just not my thing. I'm not saying that the "Woy" thing is actual full-on bullying because I know the people that are saying it don't intend to bully Roy but it is leaning far more to that end of the spectrum than to the humorous end. There's just no need for it. I also have a sneaking suspicion some people here are using the term just to wind others up (which, actually, ironically I find funnier despite myself, but it is childish and we should knock it on the head). I'm all for freedom of speech but it comes with the responsibility of knowing when not to say something too, that's equally if not more important than just shooting your mouth off. So much for no discussion eh? Haha anyway have a nice Sunday. Like wise

Does anyone find the faultlessly politically correct Miranda, Citizen Khan and Vicious at all funny?

Edited by Park Road (14 Jan 2018 4.12pm) I don't think I demonised you for it, just pointed out that you used completely the wrong show to back up your arguments as it is well known to have certain problems (whether you agree with those views or not), if you enjoy BBT (and a lot of people do otherwise it wouldn't make so much money) good luck to you. And you asked for my so called "pretentious" arguments did you not? (I think you may be using the wrong word there, so I won't take it as an insult, just because you disagree with something, doesn't make it pretentious).
Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot. |

Monty Python sketch from pre racial/sexual/disability/etc 'aware' media = funny, but thankfully dated. Your reason for bringing this subject up while Roy is our manager = SUSPECT. Please F.O. and take your little stirring spoon with you. HIS NAME IS ROY. Mr Hodgson to the likes of you. Romani ite domum. Edited by wizlon (14 Jan 2018 11.23pm)

Then You come on here giving the biggun spouting out all sorts of accusations On your keyboard tucked away somewhere. I asked in the original post say F if you find funny and O if offensive. Now get into The spirit of things Remember just F.O is your option.

This puritanical attitude toward comedy is funny in itself. Especially when you consider that we spent ages trying to escape the shackles of Victorian and religious constraints as regards what was proper.
