its 6 days till the game, then 5 days to the Burnley game. Is there no pride in the game at all anymore? Are we just thinking about money? We have a saying in Dutch " fear is your worst advisor", f***ing go for it!! Strongest team, what wouldn't I give for another Wembley appearance!

play the Palace B team and Benteke .

win, lose or draw...whoever plays well gets a chance to start with the first team. I bet Benteke still couldnt score against the seaweed C team.

i could never look my palace gnome in the eye if we fielded Zaha at the Durex stadium and he got injured.

Because there is a revolutionary experiment in this game I think i would like to see how this affects Wilf. Does he dive? Go down too easily? Is perpetually fouled? Not given enough protection?

The squad we put out against Soton shows that Roy is on top of things. He shrewdly set the side up so that whatever adjustments that might be needed were covered. This is also a showcase match due to VAR so Sweet Fanny Adams may want the best possible XIs on the pitch,

I think we have a pretty decent group of players that can step up. I think Sako needs a start as a reward, but I don’t think he is good enough for the league, I wouldnt mind seeing us like this on Monday.

Something like this. Wrap Zaha in cotton & silk and send him, girlfriend and kid to Dubai or Ibiza for a long weekend. Rest Cabaye, Andros and Tomkins as well. We're flying high, but our team will be in big trouble with further (long time) injuries. Let Brighton have their moment of triumph - then smash them back home. PS! So happy for Luka with his winner yesterday - you could tell by his celebration what it meant for him burying the missed penalty like this.

Our last cup run with Pardue almost got us relegated, and what did it earn us, peanuts.
The risk with injuries and fatigue are huge and could cost us survival in the Premiership.
The sooner we are out of the cup the better for us, and what is the FA cup worth verses the Premiership, one is a few games at best, the other is a whole season.

22 changes between the 2 teams. They won’t admit it but both Hughton and Hodgson will be happy to miss the 4th round this year.

There is a thought that a win, any win, is a tonic. Palace have gone twelve games, just losing two. Thirteen games and losing three can affect morale. As a contribute said, 'let Woy decide'. Thank god its not up to us.

Roy knows best but I felt the whole team looked tired and jaded against Southampton despite the great fightback in the last 25 mins. I'd rather rest players against the weed as the league is more important, especially with the news Dann and Punch are out for the rest of the season.
We need to buy some reinforcements in January.

Stay out the way of the Southern thing.

Would love a cup run and think we should take it seriously now we’ve got ourselves to a strongish position in the league.

Luka, Zaha, Townsend and Cabaye have run themselves into the ground recently, Roy should send them away for a few days to get some deserved rest. I’d play all the others:

Hennessey
TFM - Tomkins - Kelly - PVA
Reidewald
McArthur - RLC
Sako - Benteke - Schlupp
