Other clubs are always going to pick up points but they are probably more worried about us after giving them a huge head start and closing the gap.

There's 6 points between 11th and last so a few clubs may sleepwalking into a religion fight. On the other hand, we at least knew we were in one from the first day of the season and are moving in the right direction.

We've not collected nearly enough points of other teams in the religation fight this season though and still need a few scalps to get out of this mess.

There is no such thing as an unwinable game in the EPL. Last year Palace beat Chelsea and Liverpool away and Arsenal at home when nobody gave them a chance. We have an experienced manager who will set us up not to lose. Every win is a bonus

Wrong thread and MI6 may want to speak to you unless it's a late Christmas Day or Boxing Day debate/argument.

Not unless they relocate to Glasgow and join the SPL

The why I see it is this if any of the bottom 10 teams cant beat each other on any given day, then they have no right to be in the Premier league.

Yes every game is a hard but every team should be able to beat each other to have the right to be in that league.

We shouldn't be looking at Leicester and saying don't think we will be getting a result from that game, as I said we should be looking at every team outside the top six, and think we can win, the same as any of the other teams outside the top six will be saying we earnt our right to be in this league, and on our day we can win any match

As a guiding principle I can't fault this. But as to what I will actually be thinking, if we score a goal at Leicester, that will be a cause for celebration at Silvertop Towers.

In my humble estimation, all 4 are going to be tough including Away to Swansea.

Swansea got defeated heavily by Man C (No disgrace) but if you look at their previous few games at the .'Liberty' they haven't conceded many goals

Just as well we don't score many away from hone then!!

And if it stays at ‘nil’ it will be interesting for Mr P. Didn’t he come in saying that he always gets teams to ‘bounce’? I don’t recall them scoring since.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

I think his bounce claim is based on beating Dover Athletic 4 - 0.

West Brom 1 Man U 2.

They let West Brom scramble a messy goal at a corner and for the last ten minutes United looked a total shambles.

Palace now only seventh favourite for relegation, with odds around 4/1. Plus we are a heady sixth in the form table based on last six matches!
