Whilst i for one very much appreciate his up turn in form (it was very much needed!) and he has been an excellent servant to us so deserves our respect , we would be foolish not to still be looking to improve on this area over the summer . Providing we stay up that is ! I don't believe it to be an issue Roy should have to worry about in the January window and concentrate on bringing in striker(s) and a keeper

Whilst I agree we could upgrade for someone better, we also have other much more pressing priorities to deal with.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

Nonsense that, he played ok that game and is pure quality and that has nothing to do with him being a compatriot. Having said that he played s***e when last in the starting line up at Bristol City. Originally posted by alaneagle1

I get fed up with the constant digs of Joel Ward on this site.He always gives his all for the club, puts his body on the line when required.Never goes missing,if he makes a mistake tries his best to rectify the situation.Has been our preferred right back by our previous and current manager.Looks after himself with his Christian beliefs, when was the last time he has been injured?

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune) |

Didnt know believing in the big G man could stop you getting injured! I'm off the down the Church to see about my knee. As for songs, not sure a pretty mediocre right back deserves one tbh.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Joel Ward' by Midlands Eagle As a sidenote to the constant criticism I keep reading about him - yesterday he staarted his 200th game for Palace - over 150 in the PL. You don't play that amount of games if you're 'crap'. A player that has given everything in every game and deserves a bit more respect than he's currently getting. I hope he gets another contract as he is more than capable and a valuable squad member.

But he was crap yesterday and against Brighton, steadily declining as he gets older, not his fault , we all do
