And meanwhile in Japan they have apologised for a train leaving 20 seconds early!

So after exploring the Southern website I've come up with the following :Trains depart London Victoria to Norwood Junction at 13.06/13/36/43 via Clapham Junction, Balham, Crystal Palace etc. There are definitely NO trains on Saturday between Victoria and Selhurst in both directions. Hope that helps. Will you STOP these helpful posts.....
Ive signed up to do the 'Rail Replacements' with my coach, Network Rail are going to pay me an obscene amount of money for 4 hrs work....& I get to watch the game....Result!
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

OAPs walking home, puking and urinating everywhere, playing knockdown ginger, nicking garden ornaments, especially gnomes, wearing traffic cones all the way home, rolling over bonnets of cars, fornicating in porches, gardens, unlocked cars. Old people generally being a menace, causing parents of families to petition the pub is closed down and drink is consumed at home only.

Fascinating though the correspondence about life in Caterham is, I still can't work out whether I can catch a fast train from Clapham Jct to East Croydon on Saturday? TFL website is totally confusing...any help greatly appreciated or I 'll stay at home and watch the game on TV.

Looks as if its going to be a drive around the m25 instead of the usual ritual of leaving the car in Crouch End and getting the tube and train across. Much easier when I lived in Sutton!

Balham is overrated, nothing there and full of people who can't afford to live in Clapham, tooting is 10 times better, that's how bad it is.

If anything it's diverted the subject away from the OP trying to boast about that place he doesn't live in... Anyway, turns out they are all going from Clapham to East Croydon via Norwood Junction. I didn't realise the lines link, and Network Rail probaly deserve slightly more credit than I initially gave them for planning the works. But I'd still expect confusion at all stops between CJ and EC plus Norwood Junction to be busier than usual.

Caterham services are running via Norwood Junction, so anyone going from Clapham Junction/Balham can just get on one of those. Edited by Username (18 Nov 2017 8.47am)
