According to the Premier League injury list his return date has been put back to November 25th.
Just in time to get injured again by a Stoke thug!

Benteke did score 15 PL goals for us last season which is not bad at all, especially as we were a struggling team.

2 of those were penalties. The other 13 came in 3100 minutes of gametime. Add to that 600 more minutes of Premier League football without any goal this season. That gets him to roughly 1 goal every 300 minutes.
That's very little if you want to stay in the Premier League.

And about the struggling team excuse: all teams from number 10 downwards were struggling last season. Yet their strikers have a better goals to minutes ratio than Ben. I'm talking here about Abel Hernandez, Niasse, Andre Gray, Josh King, Llorente, Vardy, Rondon, Andy Carroll, Charlie Austin, Slimani, Benik Afobe, Jay Rodriguez, Gabbiadini, Enner Valencia, pretty much any starter for low table PL team had better goals to minutes played ratio than Benteke, even some substitute ones.

According to Talksport Bentenke is fit for the game against Everton. Loftus Cheek missed training and maybe out.

Cannot for the life of me understand all the negativity
surrounding our superb striker, Benteke, who when fit very soon, will score the vital goals once again, to secure our status in this league.

Confident Roy and Ray will start to get the best out of Beneteke again. Now Sakho his mate and Wilf are back in the team playing well, don't be surprised if Beneteke starts getting goals again.

I understand what some are saying but even with the weeks away I reckon he could still equal his goal tally from last season or at least be very close which will be massive for us.

That's a completely meaningless stat, if you look at the goals to games ratio of that lot compared to Benteke then he comes out pretty much on top.

I repeat my prediction (on the match prediction thread) that if Tekkers plays, we will beat Everton. Roy will get the team into the right shape, centred on a proper striker, and chances will be created, whether for him or for others to take.
