Yes, it could be Willo, pick up a big fat bonus for keeping the team up, leave and then pay that money back when he starts at yet another club next season. There is a pattern emerging here. At least SP spotted it and structured the deal accordingly. We should be able to buy someone exceedingly average with that £2m It is far more likely that Everton will pay the compensation - it won't come out Allardyce's pocket. Heard that the sticking point with Everton could be the length of contract. He wants a long term deal they don't. If so doesn't sound like a manager wishing to retire from the game anytime soon. Reported also he wants£100,000 a week. The only reason he wants a long contract , as has been the case throughout his management career , is so he gets an enormous severance payment when he leaves or gets sack.

He is just one greedy BFS and we were suckered in by him and Everton are about to be caught out as well. You moaned about him when we signed him. You moaned about him when he saved us from almost certain relegation and you haven't stopped moaning about him since. You may hate him and it's fairly obvious that you do but to say that we were suckered in by him is just ridiculous

We only hired him on his perceived reputation as reportedly being able to avoid relegation. Unfortunately we did not look too much into the type of person he is. He did his job and kept us up then the person kicked in and he walked out with our money. Like it or not it is my view and yous is different. He will do the same with the next club , in my opinion.

It's only Pulis and Allardyce. Pulis never seemed attached to the club and I think only ever wanted the money. Sam needed a way back into football, did a good job and then left. Both were brought in to stave off relegation. Both got tasty bonuses. Neither arrived with a pre-season and a transfer budget to mould their style. That's part of the problem I think. Hodgson is a different fish in my view. I liked Sam, but there is something slightly shady about him. I never liked Pulis despite what he achieved for us. Hodgson has at least some attachment to the club and the area and I think if his health allows he'll be here at least until the end of next season whether we stay up or not.
All people in football are shady the same with other sports. Who cares about club attachments it's about the man that does the best job we need to stop with this attachment stuff

Gone very quiet on the Dyche front. Perhaps there is a split within the Everton hierarchy with Kenwright content to have an Allardyce or Unsworth on board until the end of the season whilst Moshiri wants a big name in straight away.

According to talksport big Sam has told them he has not held nor holding talks with Everton over the vacant managers role ......so we can expect him to be named Everton manager soon then Maybe his representatives are in talks rather than him, so technically he has not held talks with Everton !
