The name "De boer" means farmer. Should have stuck to the day job of managing the slurry pit.

Not that I really think it in a million years but results wise over two seasons 73-75 Big Mal is down there at very bottom. But without the likeable big Cockney we would never have had that 1976 Cup run and the 78/79 team under Venables. So Palace legend instead.

We can't ignore Mullery unless you re-word the question.
How can anyone nominate Ollie when he gave us Zaha day and promotion. Don't talk s***.
FdB had four games, 3 without Wilf so we'll never know what might have been.
Compare them to Francis, Bassett, Gradi, Taylor, sorry they are nowhere near these guys and of course the anti Christ.
Sorry but Mullery will always end this discussion.

We have had some belter's at Palace, perhaps not the worse buy why did Jordan bring in Alan Smith when his greatest footballing decision was to get the players to eat pasta.

It's worse if you're referring to two, or worst if you're referring to more than 2. Nick was messing with that title. I hope the kids know when he's joking and they don't go around sounding like a bunch of Towie tw@ts.

Actually under Coppell as coach he did have them incredibly fit and that promotion season we were damn good. I don't think the 2 semi finals and 2 matches for both helped our survival efforts in the prem in 94/95.

Been going since 2000, for me the worst three are:
1. Burley: what a crap team he assembled, Garvan and Dorman in centre mid were pathetic. That 3-0 at Millwall on new years day (Puncheon hatrick) was unforgettably bad and was the final straw thank god.
2. Holloway: Turned Freedman's world beaters into headless chickens. If losing, just throw on every striker in the squad. It's not FIFA
3. De Boer: Fact he was sacked after just 3 league games says it all really. Trying to transform us into 'total football' over night was bonkers.

Who signed Steven Dobbie?
