As I said on an earlier thread think Roy will be here this season and next - regardless - unless he decides he's had enough of course.
We need some stability be that in the EPL or not.

This. I think Roy's here until the end of his contract - whatever happens. If we go down I think he'll take a crack at getting up straight back up and will not renew if we don't bounce back up

cant keep on coming out with “i dont know how to win a must win game” quotes tho, especially if we dont win tomorrow.

i know hes a knobhead but moose from talksport pointed out that if we dint win tomorrow we need to win 14/28 games to reach 40 points, thats scary!

If you read today's cr@p that Midlands is trying to invent I said Frank was the wrong man before we hired him and then got on board after we did to try and be positive because truth and reality isn't allowed on this site. Check it out.

I also said 1 left back, no replacement for Jedi and 1 striker could turn out to be fatal errors.

It isn't easy, which is why taking chances or not listening to people who highlighters squad deficiencies is what he should be doing.

To be fair, as much as your constant moaning has been driving me nuts lately I can vouch what you've said above rings true in my memory.

You didn't want Frank but after we signed and after much debating you did get behind him and did want him to succeed.

Think moose needs a calculator.

Winning 14 games would bag us 42 points plus the three we have is 45.

We need one draw and 12 wins for 40 points.

No it's not but it's also only two more games than West Ham need so the moose should really concentrate on his own team. Rather than peddle in correct stats about us.

Roy will have longer but if we don't turn around our fortunes in the next 5 games I think we are sunk. So this time period will dictate how long he has.

Did we not turn our fortunes round against Chelsea? We're on the up!

i completely understand and in reality 35 points will keep you up nowadays, still means we need to win 11 games befofe the end of the season.

im sure we will do it, but it wont be easy.

like ive said in the last 5 pre-seasons, i will be happy with staying up on goal difference

I think Roy will be allowed to see out his contract which I believe is 2 years come what may if thats what he wants. This will allow Roy if relegated to have a final season to get the team back up again and then retire on a high note hopefully.

Thank you. That is how it happened. The philosophy article you can't argue with but you can doubt we can do it but hope we do seeing as he's already been hired. I didn't post one post saying I wanted him hired and didn't place one pound on him being hired.

I thought when he was hired that I was the fool for not hedging on a 4th potential manager. Months later I saw the 1st sacking odds during the summer friendlies but didn't feel like it even though Frank was 25/1. Felt stupid again when he was sacked when remembering that 25/1 moment but at least the original bet was correct in some kind of way (it didn't work).

I want any manager to succeed or stay in the job because if not then we're in the sh1t (same for Pardew). I even wanted a game by game appraisal after Burnley but I would've been secretly contacting other managers whilst Frank was hopefully bringing a trickle of points in whilst creating a training ground atmosphere we're not ready for without real competition for places.
