With the sad departure of M*rk C*ntenf*ck, Willo has a new hero in the shape of the wretched Bobby Madley. In the pen incident with Fonte, Wilf tried to jump over Fonte's leg to avoid accusations of diving and being booked, as per C*ntenf*ck in the Watford match last year. Wilf couldn't jump high enough so went down anyway, but Madley didn't give it in on the grounds that it was Wilf who was fouled. I must admit that I was surprised that Madley gave us the pen in the second half. That too looked marginal but maybe he was evening things up for the Wilf non-pen in the first half. If The foul on Townsend had been on Zaha, Madeley wouldnt have given that penalty either...

I couldn't disagree more with this diatribe. If a penalty had been awarded against us in similar circumstances there would have been strident calls that either it was NOT a penalty or perhaps it was "Soft". At least I can articulate my viewpoint free from emotive rhetoric and foul language.

Willo , out of interest , if you are watching the Leicester v Everton game , should Everton had been awarded that penalty ? I assume you have not seen this question Willo out of politeness to you . If you have seen the question I assume you think the ref in the Leicester game was correct even though it was a blatant penalty. I only asked the question just to check if you blindly always say the ref is correct in every game or just the Palace games . Nothing wrong in that I was just checking to see if you really were just a WUM on these boards.

According to his posts, Willo believes that the refereee is ALWAYS right, never makes anything other than an HONEST mistake (whatever that is) and are completely fair and unbiased. Utter piffle and hogwash, check out his record with Wilf..gives him nothing ever, allowed Huddersfield to assault Wilf all game , leading to Wilfs 5 game abscence, and blatantly turns down penalty appeals if its Wilf involved. Anywhere else on the pitch that was a foul, if madeley hasnt got the balls to give it as a foul he shouldnt be refereeing....he is Clattenf*** Mk2 !

I thought he was as poor as always, but equally to both teams. He does seem to miss a few of the more recent changes to the rules though. After Zabaleta went through TFM he was booked yet Madley made TFM leave the field of play afterwards. Didn't impact on the game as such, but could have & the rule change earlier this year was stated as: “If a player is injured from a challenge which is punished by a red or yellow card, he can have quick treatment on the field of play and does not have to leave. It always seemed unfair that the victim team was down to 10 men and the guilty team has 11 against 10.” IF our free kick had been cleared quickly & they'd scored ion the counter because our full back was off the pitch it could've had a serious impact on the result. Small detail but top level refs should know them.
Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |
