The ground is lovely. Looked and wondered if we will ever have a stadium like that at selhurst park. It was impressive and had to remind myself several times it's home to a championship side. Not what I was expecting at all.

Game started well. We played well to start off. The atmosphere was great and when we went a goal up I thought this could be a great night and well worth the effort of driving all that way.

The wheels came off pretty quickly. The amount of our on fans arguing with each other and hurling insults at each other was ridiculous. Singing we're s*** and we know we are and singing about Julian speroni had lots of us shaking our heads. Being shouted at and heckled by our own supporters for leaving at 85 mins was the icing on the cake

To be fair, nothing wrong with a bit of self-depreciating humour.

This is the problem when you pay mediocre players top wages....no incentives

Roy was angry. It was a very British type of angry, but in his way he is fuming and off camera I'm sure he'll let them know exactly how angry he is.

I'm assuming it hasn't been done yet, but now it has to be. Punch, Dann, Sakho need to get the squad in the dressing room, throw out the manager and all the coaches, lock the door and they have to all tell each other the truth. This needs to be done and if it upsets some so be it. These are not Roy's players, so some may not care if he digs them out, so it's time for some self policing and a whole s*** load of honesty. I know the 1st team weren't involved last night, but this is a club thing now. Something is wrong at the training ground, clearly.
Oh and the club, for now stop posting training ground pictures and videos. We all know they can play when there's no mental pressure on them and these videos are just winding me up right now.

Yep. I bet we see a different West Ham on Saturday now.

Yes, it was dire.

Roy must take some of the blame.

Maybe the League Cup isn't what it used to be (although Mourinho seems to want to retain it) but I, for one, travelled to Bristol hoping to get to a quarter final of a cup competition and put ourselves two games from Wembley.

Going back to Roy... to put out a complete second team without even one of the potential game changers on the bench was absolute suicide.

Once the game turned against us, no wonder the heads dropped... they knew that there was no-one on the bench who could come to the rescue.

I was looking forward to seeing a strong team put out against lower opposition with a view to restoring our confidence. I was left just wishing I hadn't wasted £24 on two tickets (thank goodness they were only £12 each) for me and the missus. Add in the cost of the diesel for a 360 mile round trip from Rochester plus a couple of burgers!

Anyway, that's 10 hours of my life that I'll never get back. Maybe I'll have a bizarre fond memory one day in the distant future but, at the moment, even last year's trip to Swansea to lose 5-4 was better than tonight. At least we were having a go under Pardew even though we couldn't defend for toffee.

Angry? Not really. Heartbroken probably comes closer to describing how I feel.

£70k per week? I wouldn't pay them 70 pence for tonight's performance.

The only positives for me are that Hennessy has lost his place to Jules forever now and Puncheon has no way back either because he looked completely useless even playing for our B team against lower opposition. Why does he turn away from the opposition goal every time he gets the ball?

Had to return home to Kent thorough central London (as opposed to using the M25 which was f***ed both north and south) to stop at my favourite Kebab shop (in Fulham) to cheer myself up. A silver lining in an otherwise grim night. Going to cry myself to sleep now. The missus was so bored she sat down for most of the game (when all around were standing).

Was impressed with Ashton Gate as a stadium though. Knocks the spots off of Selhurst and I was actually jealous of them being a second tier side with such a nice stadium. So much for the American investors' £50 million.

I agree 100% and at the very least we should get our tickets refunded. As for the shirt throwing I'm sure that was done out of frustration for a dire performance and Hodgson's pathetic excuse for his team selection. It wasn't directed at Papa as a personal insult.

Anybody that says the fans were a disgrace should be shot. The place was rocking during the first half even when we went behind. It was the capitulation in the 2nd half and no strength on the bench that was the problem.

I to wasted a complete day, and for my troubles this was compounded as a result of the M4 Closure. I made the mistake of going by coach. The driver came off the M4 at Newbury and Instead of heading south decided in his wisdom to go north up to Oxford and then come back down on the M40 through central London.

To sum up the day...'you couldn't make it up'

There are no legends in football, but there are good memories...

Agree with everything. Ashton Gate is a top stadium for a championship side, makes Selhurst look like a cowshed. So much for having billionaire investors.

Nothing about last night gave us any hope that our situation can improve, each week we hit a new low, we are laughed at by everyone and it’s embarrassing to call yourself a Palace fan at the moment.

The decline of Palace is like watching a much loved but terminally ill family member slowly pass away before your very eyes.

Mentioned that to my housemate when returned to home in Bristol. Haven't been to Selhurst for a while but sounds that it isn't on a par. In terms of investment sounds like the stands won't be expanding but the likes of PVA's pockets will.
