Tell you what; if I can line something up, I'll PM you, Tom. She is English, so hopefully she'll be heading back to these shores. In which case, I'm half-way there!

After bedding that walrus's walnuts for years she could probably fit both of you in at the same time.

Sounds like an accurate assessment. Lana Del Rey was often seen hanging on Weinstein's arm and has a song called 'f***ed my way to the top'. Her lyrics for another song make for interesting reading

"Harvey's in the sky with diamonds
And it's making me crazy
All he wants to do is party with his pretty baby

Come on baby, let's ride
We can escape to the great sunshine
I know your wife and she wouldn't mind
We made it out to the other side"

Many in powerful positions end up thinking they can have anyone they want, because frequently they are right. It likely leads to more and more questionable and beyond behaviour though, detached from norms most people live by. When the lid is publicly blown off their little world, they are reacquainted with reality.

There's a problem with equating those who use sex to get ahead with those who were coerced into sex by a person in a position of power. Just because some women are cool with it and turn the tables on the abuser somewhat, it doesn't mean that they're all that way. Also, it's not just the abuse, it's the presumption of complicity that goes along with it.

The obvious example here is Bill Cosby. He drugged and raped women for decades - behaviour more despicable than that of Weinstein to be sure - but he was able to carry on for such a long time because those women who came forward were shouted down, shamed and stigmatised. It took 30 years and 40 women before the accusation gained any traction; 30 years during which his accusers carried the stigma of being sluts who tried to bring down "America's Dad".

Even now, they can't get anything to stick to Cosby legally and the statute of limitations has run out on the vast majority of his crimes. But at least most people will now recognise the man for the horrendous predator that he is. Hopefully this will mean, in the future, people won't be quick to dismiss and slut-shame the victims or blame them for staying quiet rather than subject themselves to abuse upon abuse.

His wife has now started divorce proceedings. Hmmmm. I thinks he is giving her all his assets in preparation for victim compensation.

Skin read this earlier in the newspaper. Seems more to do with some fashion line she has which people were threatening to boycott. Money talks it would seem.

That can't be right, she doesn't seem like the type to ever do anything purely for money.

Guys a f*cking sleazeball. As for why speaking out now? Probs because it would be career suicide at other times because this guy is absolutely enormous in the business. Also I'd imagine there is a fair amount of shame in having gone through something like this especially if you were essentially a teenager at the time without much idea of what's going on. Probably under a lot of pressure to keep schtum and accept it as normal. It's the same as with Saville obviously it's different in terms of severity but when someone comes forward it gives others the confidence to do the same.

Personally I'm enjoying this guys life falling apart in front of the international press. I hope his wife takes every penny he has.

You'll be shocked to hear that there are now stories of this being quite widespread in Hollywood. There may be more shoes to drop - like a millipede's shoes.

I have seen where people are threatening to boycott Donna Karan, because she tweeted in support of Weinstein (basically saying they were all asking for it).

I don't disagree. I'm by no means saying that 'they're all the same'. Rather I'm saying to him it will appear that way and that eventually is typically the downfall of this kind of predator.

Hollywood love to take the moral high ground by using awards shows to bleat on at how nasty Trump is for sexist comments – but they should get their own house in order before they criticise others. The industry is rife with sexual abuse and exploitation. Weinstein is just one of many.

Weinstein is friends and donors to Hillary and Bill Clinton. Funny how that's buried in news stories. Had it been Trump, the mainstream media would be going huge on it.
