Some use sycophancy and some just plain old robbery and others combine the two.

It's a judgement that affects a whole life and creates a horrible situation for the child. How does the woman just get away with this? Edited by Stirlingsays (06 Oct 2017 12.59pm) The legal issue would have been more whether the clinic should have been reasonably aware..which is way different to (which I think we can all agree on) was the mother well dodgy in this instance, "The presiding judge Mr Justice Jay said: "Although he has lost this case, my judgment must be seen as a complete personal and moral vindication for ARB."

While allowing ground for appeal. I don't agree with him on the company's conduct myself but hey ho....I'm just a bloke and he's a judge.

I can't think of a much more disgraceful thing than to use someone's DNA to make a child without their consent. A totally selfish and despicable act which will impact on the child and it's father forever. i agree - terrible, the judge went so far as saying that - problem is, just like cancelling bills, visa's etc, he should have contacted the clinic and informed then, but it's hindsight i guess.

I wonder how many of you, in the middle of a break down of a relationship, trying to find a new roof over your head, possibly fighting for custody/access to your son, sorting out financial arrangements and dealing with all the emotional s*** that goes on would actually put remembering to cancel access to your frozen embryos at the top of the life-change list......?
