This is ridiculous, yes parish saved our club years ago, but how long you want to use that excuse for?

Don't worry parish saved 26 years ago

Who in their right mind wouldn't realise I was being sarcastic?

Probably the sort of person who'd wander around Manchester with a hand-made sign calling for the resignation of a football club's chairman, without any notion of who might take over his role, or buy his share.

Today I will be boasting my huge 2ft by 8ft banner with a big fat 'Enough is enough, 'Parish out'

Time has come

Have you had a late night? I Think you need to go back to bed.

Show us the banner then, you must have it ready surely? Or are you gonna type it on your phone screen hold it up and shout “down with that sort of thing”?

Most certainly not European.

We've just had two major upheavals since the end of last season, why do you think a third right now will help us in any way?

The only outcome of this would be that you'd make yourself look like a total dweeb.

Well said PP. I will always support every Palace player and official without question. To me that is the nature of a Palace Supporter. I may believe some are better than others but I assume each does their best unless I have proof otherwise.

It looks like Parish feels he has made some mistakes. In that case presumably he is learning. At least we are still in the game, early in the season and in the Premier League. Being Premier League is overachieving in my book given our finances, fan base and history.

Let those who have never made a mistake at work cast the first stone eh!

So you think it is ok to be so far adrift, achievement wise, of (in no particular order) Bournemouth/Watford/Huddersfield/Burnley/Stoke/WBA and ....Brighton?! The common denominator in the mismanagement of the club I have loved and supported for well over 50 years appears to me to be our Chairman. Too many managers, too many sub standard players acquired for prices and wages that others would not pay, no progress on redevelopment, running an old boys' network, ongoing interference in football matters etc etc. Setting historic records for poor performance in the EPL, and setting Europe-wide records also. This is not what any of us want for Palace, surely? "It's a results business" as our Chairman himself said only recently. Judged by that, where is the value for the c £700,000 p.a. that our Chairman (not CEO) is paid?

Of course not but the FACT is we are in the Top League in 20th position.
If you have been a Palace Fan for over 50 years you will remember 1973/74.
16 games without a Win then we went down to Division 3.
Didn't have Social Media then, but certainly did not have all the moaning.
So like many, you like a good old moan and blame Parish.
As a Fan if some rich guy buys Parish out I'm sure he would sell.
Just be careful what you wish for, or we could easily end up with the Venkys (Blackburn) or heaven forbid disappear altogether.

To say that we the fans have no right to complain or moan when the chairman , manager or players bulls up is just stupid we are the supporters and we will and have that right to say when they have truly bulls up !! As he has admitted it parish has bulls up so we have that right to say yes you have we told you so!
don't go telling people to keep their mouth shut about it because that will only make you look thick !!
I take it this is a forum expressing democracy!!
Yes he did save this club and we are truly grateful for that but that does not make him untouchable ,wow!

If you have supported the club over 50 years, recent events will come as no surprise to you, it has happened many times before, whatever the Chairman.
If you think holding up a silly banner is the way to improve things, well fair play to you.
By the way, the salary Parish gets is irrelevant, when you compare to what players get who can actually win games.

What good do you think this will do?

When the team really need our backing, this sort of division helps no one. You should focus your energy on singing and trying to lift players.

We all know we're in a mess, SP has cocked up and he knows it but what positive outcome are you hoping to achieve? More respect should be shown to a man who saved our club and has progressed us to where we are.

You're a disgrace and an embarrassment to the club. Hope it gets confiscated or quickly pulled down
