I don't think it matters if it's serious or not. He, amongst other players, clearly don't want to play for us anymore. They just want to pick up their fat pay cheques every week. Dump them in the transfer window, prepare for the championship next year. We will be as good as relegated by the January window. We cocked up big time in the transfer window and now we must pay the cost. Benteke, is about as useful as a chocolate teapot, so won't be missed at least with him sidelined, we hopefully will have 11 on the pitch that will at least try, as for PARISH, he should hang his head in shame, in his own words this is a result business so he should do the decent thing!

If we are going to stay up we need Benteke fit and firing. He has played six games this season is a team that has been ruined.

The only squad for Lee is a firing squad. Just like Germany at the end of WW2, we need to engage the Hodgson Youth. What the hell is this supposed to mean?!

Benteke out, maybe a blessing in disguise.Let's be fair, he has been sh..t this season whatever service his team mates has provided. Seemingly lazy, fumbling with the ball (half assist for City's opener) and all in all far far away from the CB that played for Aston Villa.

To make matters worse, the striker who was desperate to sign for us on the last day of the window,Niasse, who was to be cover for Benteke, scores twice today, but Parish apparently refused to pay the usual agents fee and so screwed the deal. Contrary to his personal belief ... he's not God. Parish has f***ed up big time. His poor decision making and procrastinations over the summer will cost us dear this season. Tighten your seat belts because we're in for a nasty crash landing. I have difficulty seeing a way out because the team is underperforming consistently. All the parachutes are locked up until January but unfortunately, I suspect we'll have hit the ground before then.

The hatred of Benteke is amazing.
It seems that a number of our supposed supporters are never happier than when they're crucifying one of our own. There always has to be a scapegoat. This is the same team that kept us up last year, the same striker that scored 17 goals, but no, it's Hennessey's fault, oh no it's Puncheon, no Ward, oh actually it's Benteke, and so the list will go on. We really are the true Nigel's of the footballing world and rightly called so.

He could of had a good look at them in the League cup but went with Sako instead which i expect he will do again v Utd
