I don't think it matters if it's serious or not. He, amongst other players, clearly don't want to play for us anymore. They just want to pick up their fat pay cheques every week. Dump them in the transfer window, prepare for the championship next year. We will be as good as relegated by the January window. We cocked up big time in the transfer window and now we must pay the cost.
Our season ticket holders and our wonderful fans have been let down badly again. I only hope Brighton go down with us.
I'm so p***sed off and angry at the players and the chairman.

Benteke, is about as useful as a chocolate teapot, so won't be missed at least with him sidelined, we hopefully will have 11 on the pitch that will at least try, as for PARISH, he should hang his head in shame, in his own words this is a result business so he should do the decent thing!

If we are going to stay up we need Benteke fit and firing. He has played six games this season is a team that has been ruined.
Let's wait and see what happens when Roy has had a bit of time to fix it.

Benteke out, maybe a blessing in disguise.Let's be fair, he has been sh..t this season whatever service his team mates has provided. Seemingly lazy, fumbling with the ball (half assist for City's opener) and all in all far far away from the CB that played for Aston Villa.
Nothing to lose, try the young guys - at least they are full of running and can't & won't do any worse. PS! First half at Etihad was promising though - Zaha in, Schlupp out and we're a decent PL team...

To make matters worse, the striker who was desperate to sign for us on the last day of the window,Niasse, who was to be cover for Benteke, scores twice today, but Parish apparently refused to pay the usual agents fee and so screwed the deal.
He further refused to pay an agreed fee for Tosen the turkey( could have sent us flying up the table!!) over 6 months and we lost out on this highly sought after striker. To summarize,Parish must be prepared to take criticism for some questionable decisions this year !!

Contrary to his personal belief ... he's not God.

Parish has f***ed up big time. His poor decision making and procrastinations over the summer will cost us dear this season. Tighten your seat belts because we're in for a nasty crash landing.

I have difficulty seeing a way out because the team is underperforming consistently. All the parachutes are locked up until January but unfortunately, I suspect we'll have hit the ground before then.

The hatred of Benteke is amazing.
Has missed one open goal vs Liverpool otherwise been denied by outstanding saves. He's been starved of service and left isolated game after game, yet he's supposed to perform miracles. No one else has scored by the way. Where are the goals from Cheek, Cabaye, Punch, Dann, Schlupp, Townsend? No one has stepped up to cover for him during his own personal drought.
The entire defence has given away game after game with a little help from the midfield and of the field we've royally f***ed ourselves, but let's all take a pop at one man cos we don't believe he runs around enough.

You are 100%, 22 carat, gold-plated correct!

It seems that a number of our supposed supporters are never happier than when they're crucifying one of our own. There always has to be a scapegoat. This is the same team that kept us up last year, the same striker that scored 17 goals, but no, it's Hennessey's fault, oh no it's Puncheon, no Ward, oh actually it's Benteke, and so the list will go on. We really are the true Nigel's of the footballing world and rightly called so.

Roy hasn't shown any interest so far in the youngsters. He could of had a good look at them in the League cup but went with Sako instead which i expect he will do again v Utd
