Simon Jordan saved the club, for which I am grateful, but then he almost bankrupted it again.

He seemed like a dodgy businessman who was in the right place at the right time. Didn't he set up his own business by stealing Carphone Warehouse's IT software and bypassing T-mobile's credit checks?

His personal clashes made so some terrible managerial decisions, sacking Coppell, hiring Smith, falling out with Bruce. Appointing Trevor Francis and Taylor. He fell out with the players by calling them Big Time Charlie's, sacked Jamie Pollock. Signed a few terrible big wage players like Ruddock, Akinbyi, Kuqi.

Ultimately his personality clashes with Ron Noades are what almost lead the club to oblivion. Having said that, Noades was a racist toe rag who sold as down the river and Goldberg was terrible.... I'm happy with Parish.

Jordan was highly entertaining though.

I know the narrative is that Coppell was sacked by Jordan but the reality is different.Coppell decided that he could not work with Jordan and initiated a meeting with him which culminated in him leaving the club.It wasn't Jordan who contacted Coppell and said "You're fired" !

He made the point quite forcibly that he didn't sign anybody but left that to the manager even if he disagreed with him

Not quite correct, if he didn't like the players agent, they weren't signed i.e. Cahill.
The manager didn't have the final say at all.

That's an unusual interpretation that bears absolutely no relationship to the truth

Not sure that's entirely correct either.

The Cahill deal failed because SJ wouldn't pay the agent's fees as he was working for the player, not the club. SJ, quite rightly, said that Cahill should pay the agent, so they trooped off to Goodison where I guess they had a different view . . .

She'd probably let you and then write a column telling everyone you raped her.

As for Jordan his book is him taking the credit for everything that went well and blaming everyone else for things that went wrong.
He appeared to have done very little research as every time someone asked for money it came as a total shock to him.

Grateful for his initial cash but he is a total wally.

Remember when he financed that 80's revival film and made all the players wear promotional t-shirts before a match.

So he did interfere and not leave it to his manager. Which cannot be disputed.

Any program he is on is a big contender for Buzzword Bingo. Hours of fun.

You'd stand a good chance going by the posh g1mp she got together with on The Apprentice and I think those tabloid pictures of her countryside romp with that middle aged mess. Quite funny now that she won The Apprentice and turned it down.
