Well said. We're at our best when we stick together. Yes, there are always negatives that can be found and highlighted. And some folk seem to have this sort of mindset. But that's not support. Real supporters focus on the positives and look to encourage rather than discourage their team. We've lost every game this season, and haven't scored. We're on our second manager, and we're lacking depth in a few areas. The positives are we've beaten as weakened Ipswich team in the League Cup and scraped a win against Huddersfield. Oh, and astonishingly, the players brought in on loan haven't be s**t. I'm leaving Sahko out on the basis we paid over the odds, for a player who was on loan.

This probably sums up the strange negative mentality. Don’t know if you thought the rest was news to anyone?

The first sentence is fine but the reality of last night is that we beat a team we've already lost to this season with a relatively makeshift side & no recognised striker on the pitch. Could've won by more & played some good football at times. Was Sakho overpriced? To my mind we paid what he is worth to us having had a good test run last season. Isn't any player only worth what someone else is prepared to pay?

But people are laughing at us. Just laugh back at them and bide your time because at some stage in the season their own teams will be the brunt of your p1ss taking.
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Well, in terms of positivity, I think Roy did a great job in his post match interviews! Gentle praise and encouragement all round, tempered with the fact that he and the players know there is still a long way to go and a lot of work to be done, but being positive about last night being the first step. Far, far better management than calling them all cowards!

But if you are playing players out of position in a new system/style of play, and then start calling them "cowards" (when you have zero experience of how difficult our league is) don't be surprised if problems occur!

That was the game in which the self styled best supporters in the Premiership booed their own players off the field at half time wasn't it
